Rating: Summary: THE TITLE SAYS IT ALL Review: How can any one hate on a film that takes you on a ride to the real streets of the us, not these lttle suburban areas. The people hating on this are most likely the kids that act like they came from these places. They see what it is really like and turn their noses up at it. My advice for everybody out there is to learn a thing or two and see what the real world is like outside of your paradise.
Rating: Summary: Hip Hop?????? Review: Not even worth a dime. Don't even bother scrolling down or up. Hit the "back" button because this is the worst DVD. I was forced to give one star, it doesn't deserve a star at all. I'd give it a rusty penny. Peace

Rating: Summary: Cutting edge social commentary set to a hip hop beat. Review: Straight From the Streets is cutting edge social commentary set to a hip hop beat. Featuring many top hip hop artists ( Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Ice T, Kam, etc.) this first film from Keith O'Derek and Robert Corsini takes a hard look at the social and economic conditions in Los Angeles starting with the Rodney King riots up through the Million Man March. This is a film that everyone in America should see.
Rating: Summary: The Best Hip Hop Documentary On DVD Review: Straight From The Streets is the first hip hop documentary released on DVD. Since they are the pioneers in this area, the filmmakers came out with a bang! SFTS features Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Cypress Hill, DJ Quik, Ice T, Kurupt, Rage, Kam, Daddy O, Denzel Washington and many others. The DVD has additional footage of Dr. Dre, KRS One, May May Ali, DJ Red Alert, Moving Menus, Research Material, Animated Characters, Biographies, Directors Commentary, Trailers, Directors Interview and much more. No other hip hop title on the market offers you more. The DVD is the bomb!
Rating: Summary: hip hop documentary??!?? Review: Straight from the streets wasn`t what I expected. If you ask me this isn`t even a documentary about hip hop, more a documentary on black people. On this DVD you have a lot of black people talkin how they shouldn`t fight amongst each other, how they should unite and stuff like that. Besides the interviews with ice t and the low rider show this dvd has nothing to offer. It is NOT A HIP HOP DOCUMENTARY, if you want a hip hop documentary on DVD, buy Rhyme & Reason!
Rating: Summary: NOT WORTH TO BUY Review: What is that? I dont wanna learn about the black people life style. I expected to listento hip-hop or rap. this dvd is the worst ever. and to amazon stuff: this dvd has no relation with music or hip-hop
