Summary: The Blue Angels, In Pursuit of Excellence
Review: A very entertaining blend of flying fast and behind the scenes footage. The adolescent character, who also narrates, brings the whole thing on a kid level making the show enjoyable for both kids and adults. The pilots and crew of the Blue Angles have a strong role model presence as well as demonstrating the pros of being in the Navy.

Review: Informative and interesting to both young and mature viewers the Blue Angels is narrated by young Sean Harris, who articulates well the life of these amazing precision pilots. Excellent cinematography.

Summary: wonderful for both children and adults
Review: My 3 year old son loved this movie. He sat in front of the tv with his model blue angel and mimicked every move the planes made in the video. It was fun to watch my son and husband watch this video together, they both had big smiles on their faces. The pilots in this video send a wonderful message to young children with dreams. My 3 year old says "when I get big I am going to fly blue angel #5". I highly reccomend this video.

Summary: Must See for ROCHESTER, NY residents and kids
Review: The footage for this video was shot in Rochester, NY during June 2000 when the Blue Angels were last here. I recommend this DVD for anyone who is going to take their children to the Rochester International Airshow this year (2004) to see the Blues on July 17th and 18th. You can expect them to arrive in town again on Thursday the 16th. It is great to watch a video of the premier flight demonstartion team and see local background and references through out! The news people didn't do so bad in their flights either. This is a must see for anyone who likes the Blue Angels and especially those in Rochester!

Review: This a very interesting and clear insight into personal achievement as a true team player. This video is a wonderful gift for a child to give them inspiration and motiviation to do whatever they want to do. The narration really tells the story... "We're not special people, what we do is special." ... "If on the first try you don't succeed it's not a failure, just a set back." All of the Blue Angels are volunteers and make tremedous personal sacrifices by being "on the road" almost 200 days a year, for 2 year stint! All of the Blue Angels must agree together before any changes or decisions effecting the team are made. The Blue Angel pilots are the only pilots who do not perform a pre-flight inspection of their airplanes before flying, a very necessary and critical task for all pilots... the Blue's jump in and go, they have total trust in their airplane captains and ground crews, the absolute epitomy of team-work. An absolutely wonderful message for everyone, especially for those youngsters in your life.

Summary: Great for Kids (Regardless of Age)
Review: Video and audio quality is not the best (why it only gets 4 stars), the movie is worth the price if you are a Blue Angel fan. Not too much meaningless talk and LOTS of behind the scenes information. Lots of aerial shots too.
