Review: A regret I've carried for the last twelve years is that I returned to grad school on time when I could've missed the semester's first week and seen the Philip Glass Ensemble perform live at a theatrical showing of Koyaanisqatsi. This film certainly gives one more to think about.

Review: This film needs to be released on DVD. I just purchased a VHS copy for fourteen ninety five at bestvideo dot com but I want a widescreen version. The film is still outstanding even with the clunky mechanical mainframes and punchcards. There is no other film like it.

Review: A fantastic - and holographic movie - for the fact it shows the impact we induce on nature, and at the same time - thru speed up motion shows an analogy between one, single human - being a molecule in the human river - and one, single water molecule in the wild and curling flow of a sea wave.

Review: This movie is VERY close to my heart. Phillip Glass' music is inspiring and mixed with the cinematography it is ASTOUNDING!!! It is a crime that such a piece of film is not available!

Review: It has been years since I originally saw this movie and I agree with most, you must see it on the big screen. However, seeing it at all would be wonderful right now. Hopefully someone will re-release this on VHS/DVD at some point soon. For those that can't wait, I did see copies on ebay for close to $100.00 for a VHS!

Review: A group of us went to the Brooklyn Academy of Music 1/16/99 to see the film with the live music ensemble. It had been a while since I had seen the film, and while it was amusing to see how old and corny the early '80's technology looks today, I'd forgotten how much I love this film. From the number of scalpers and left-outs we saw that night begging to buy tickets, I can not believe there seems to be no effort to re-release Koyannisqatsi on video. Hello-o, Hello! There is some money to be made here. Wake up video makers.
