Review: This DVD goes right into my Collection with Style Wars and Wild Style. Growing up in the South Bronx and Spanish Harlem in the 70's and 80's I can related to it all. If Hip Hop had a history channel on cable this would air on it!!

Review: This DVD has special significance to me because I grew up in the West Bronx, right at the epicenter of Hip Hop. I was in high school during the days when Kool Herc was doing his thing and the B-Boy was born. So when I saw that this DVD had clips and interviews of Herc and many of the other innovators I had to have it. Ken Swift really did his homework. Tons of clips of fantastic moves, plenty of interviews and commentary. This is a very comprehensive documentary of what breaking and the B-Boy means to Hip Hop.

Review: This DVD totally covers pretty much everything you should know about the B-boy and B-boy culture. As far as how it started, to where it stands today. The interviews are raw, and to the point. From the footage of the early days, to the present, is very well put together. It just, all flows. Very fresh. Also the special features isn't just a bunch of crap, which usually gets put on DVD's. This DVD is way worth the price, and well wicked. Buy It! peace.

Review: this is a good DVD for those who want a precise lesson on the history of bboyin' and hip hop in general. this brought back so many memories from when i was in middle school, back in the early 80's. i remember carrying linoleum sheets on the bus going to pier 39 in frisco. for all you youngin's out there claimin' to be old skool, watch this DVD and it will show you how much you really know.

Review: This is an excellent documentary. It has interviews with many of the major players and originators of the hip-hop/b-boy movement which started in- yes, the Bronx. This documentary makes me feel proud that I grew up in NYC & in the hood because it was those of us from the inner city who created a movement/culture which exploded and went worldwide.
The breakdance footage on this disc is great. So is everything else. So what are you waiting for? Buy it!
