Summary: this is very tiresome and much cliched reruns
Review: i don't know, folks, i simply don't know, but after moore's 'roger & me', he seems to fail to surpass himself out of his first attempt to be a greater and better documentary filmmaker or even a writer. all of his products so far are still clouded under 'roger & me'. you don't have to read or watch his books or this new docu that got him an oscar, just get 'roger & me' is more than enough. and one more thing, moore should not use his old technique by dressing himself up like a sloppy american redneck or poor bluecollar guy just out of his sagging mattress from his rundown mobile home, he's actually very rich now, by dressing up like what he wore throughout the whole bowling game would only proved that he's also a phony, trying very hard to continuously cash in by earning the the empathy of we, the real working class. this docu film is actually quite bored in most parts, if compared to his 'roger n me'

Summary: An important movie
Review: If you are looking for a scary movie (and I mean REALLY scary, not a little disturbing like "the Exorcist" or "Friday the 13th") this movie is for you. Be prepared for some disturbing parts though, this documentary is not always "pleasant" to watch (although most of it is), but it is important, I believe, that you seat and watch it. It is scary for that it is all true, and everyone must be aware of the state of our societies.

I read a few "reviewers" saying that this movie is fictional, check this out : http://michaelmoore.com/words/wackoattacko/ and make your mind.

Hope this help in your choice :-)

Summary: Propaganda In its Purest Form
Review: When you take into consideration that Moore may lose his Oscar because this movie is interlaced with fallacies and blatant inaccuracies, I suggest keeping your money rather than spending it on this work of fiction. It has already been disclosed as fact that Moore: spliced video and audio together to manipulate Heston's speech, staged the scene at the bank that supposedly gives guns away, and lied about the "missle production plant" that actually builds civillian rockets to carry civillian satellites. Not to mention he picked the fruitiest of fruit cakes to represent the American gun owner. This so-called documentary is one-sided and pathetic. It does not "document" anything. Rather it conveys Moore's opinions on contemporary issues. I don't mind Moore bashing King Bush II on his own time--I'm not a right-winger--but he shouldn't accept an Oscar for creating a great documentary when this film is pure fiction. Put simply: he stages his scenes and lies to his audience. Therefore, you shouldn't waste your hard-earned money on a film that is not what it pretends to be. I give it one star, an F, a zero. And that's going easy...

Summary: Bowling with Live Ammo
Review: In his latest film, "Bowling for Columbine," Michael Moore takes us on a journey to try to answer the big question: "Why is America so violent?" Is it the violent movies? Could it be that we listen to a lot of disturbing music? Maybe it's because we're too in love with firearms. Well, as the film goes on, we find out that all of the other countries love violent movies, disturbing music, and guns just as much as we do (even more so, in some cases). Interesting questions are brought up that offer new points that rarely have been discussed before (like the impact of news programs). We get more insight into the "Columbine Massacre," and the impact guns can have on a child. What we get is an interesting ride that is filled with humor and heart.

Again, I'm no "Michael Moore" cheerleader; as I do not agree with him on everything he's said in the past. However, I think he does a great job in his documentaries. I even found "Bowling for Columbine" to be better than his first film, "Roger & Me." You're not supposed to take everything that is said here to heart. That's not what Moore wants at all. The film's purpose is to bring up some different point of views and give us some very different questions that we have never encountered before. In the end, it is YOU who decides what is going on and if you believe some of the things that are presented in this movie.

The DVD is EXCELLENT when it comes to special features. This 2-disk Special Edition includes extras like an exclusive interview with Michael Moore, commentary, Marilyn Manson's "Fight Song" music video, trailer, photo gallery, "The Charlie Rose Show," and so much more. The film looks and sounds great, as the budget and quality improved greatly with this one.

"Bowling for Columbine" isn't here to offer you solutions. Nor is it here to make you think the way Michael Moore thinks and feels. In the end, it is only a movie, and nothing more. It's up to you to decide if it's going to have an impact on your life in some way or not. Even if you don't like Moore or agree with the man on every single thing, it is still very much possible to enjoy this film. This goes down as one of my new favorites.

Summary: This Is a sad day for America
Review: This is a very brief summary of what I thought about Michael Moores New movie "Bowling For Columbine" Its intentionally kept short due to the fact I would not honor this movie in any way by wasting any more of my time on it!

Basically the premise of this movie is Moore going around the country and mocking america and its ideas. He makes points that which are very trageic and disturbing, but has no real tact in making them only showing what happened and how it occured. He pretty much slanders america, prey on the unwittingness of others, and has a very vague meaning. All in all this movie is for a true Liberal type person. "Hey I said brief and I meant brief"

A wise man once said "If you dont like America GET OUT"

Summary: All the stuff no one else is talking about
Review: Did Mr. Moore have an agenda when he filmed this movie? Yes, absolutely. Do George Bush, Ted Turner, and Rush have agendas too? Yes, absolutely.
This movie approaches the issue of violence in America from an open and honest perspective. Mr. Moore makes his motivations clear, but still leaves it open to your own interpretations.
The power of this movie comes from the examination of lots of things that are often ignored - e.g. how easy it is to get a gun, some of the bad things our country has done in the world, and how media uses fear to sell.
If you don't like Mr. Moore, you need to watch this movie. If you are concerned about violence in our schools and country, you need to watch this movie. If you are concerned about the way our country behaves in the world, you need to watch this movie.
You don't have to agree with everything that is in this movie, but you DO have to think about the issues that are presented here.
