Summary: Complete Fun. Great DVD!
Review: Killer Klowns from Outer Space is a zany, fun ride through cinematic B-movie world. It is the prime example of a B-movie. There's bad acting or over-acting, crazy plot details, and wacky characters. The plot is simple. Aliens in the form of clowns begin to take over a town. It's up to a police officer and a group of teens to stop them. Grant Cramer and Suzanne Snyder are great as our hero and heroine. Personally, I like Suzanne Snyder. Even though I've only seen her in 2 horror movies, both B-movie material, there's just something about her. John Nelson is our co-hero.

A lot of the movie was set and costume-based, as you can see in the movie. The klowns are something to look at. The normal horrible clown face (I have a clown fear) is twisted and gnarled into an even uglier clown face on these guys. Their actions and what they do just creeped me out.

The DVD is any KKFOS fan's dream. There's plenty of supplemental material. The featurettes feature interviews with the film's creators, the Chiodo Brothers. They also contain some behind the scenes shots, and the last featurette contains films made by the three in their early days. The featurettes do drag some, but are fun to watch. Also included are two deleted scenes. One that features our three main people walking on a "tight-rope", and the other is Suzanne's character explaining why she has a fear of clowns. I actually liked that scene, but I believe both can sometimes be seen in the TV versions. Also included are a number of photo and still galleries, and the original theatrical trailer. There's also a commentary with the Chiodo Bros. The picture is the clearest I've ever seen this movie. The audio is pretty good, but there is a moment in the film where the dubbing is off for about 5 minutes. The main menu is very animated with sounds and theme music, while others are static backgrounds.

The Killer Klowns from Outer Space DVD is certainly a must buy for fans of the movie and those of B-movies.

Summary: Kompletely Komical
Review: Killer Klowns is without a doubt one of the best American films ever made. Hands down.

The sheer cleverness that went into making this film, paying tribute to so many other B movies, is simply magnificent.

The plot starts like so many other movies of its kind; teenagers (played by actors/actresses in their late twenties) making out at a spot called "The Top of the World," witnessing what they think is a meteor and quickly going to "investigate."

What they discover is a tent in the middle of the woods. What the audience discovers is a pure gem of a movie. Every possible circus reference is used in this movie, all the way down to the Klown Kar.

This movie is a mark of brilliance. Part of me wants a sequel, part of me wants this to stand on its own forever.

Summary: Killer Klowns Rules!!!!!!!
Review: I remember watching Killer Klowns From Outer Space when I was about 10 years old. I remember it literally scared me after watching it. Like when the Klown made shadow puppets the last thing he made was T-rex,acid pies, the puppet show, the Klowns going door to door killing people, when Debbie was inside of baloon and when the little Klown knocked the punks'head off.
But now it's my favorite movie to watch I have it on Media original movie release out of print,MGM release, and I have it on DVD if you get this movie you will not regret it. When you see this movie you'll have a good laugh and you'll enjoy this movie as much as I did so I hope you consider buying this movie because it's worth while watching it when have a spare time to watch it.

Summary: Great Movie
Review: I remember seeing this movie on TV as a little kid, but since then hadn't seen it for a long time until I bought it. This is a GREAT movie for anyone who likes dumb movies like me, but even if you don't, this movie will still keep you laughing. The clowns are very funny, especially the little one. I definitely recomend it.

Summary: I Remember Those 80's Movies.
Review: I thought that this movie was pretty darn good. The only part of the movie that is ridiculously hideous is the opening theme song, and that's why I give the movie a 4. Now all we need on DVD for 80's horror movies that have been out of print for a long time are, "The Return Of The Living Dead", and, "Return Of The Living Dead Part 2".

Summary: Low budget film making at it's very best
Review: It's unimaginable what the Chiodo Brothers have done with such a miniscule budget. This film is a prime example of how boundless imagination, inspiration, and an genuine love for cheap horror movies can overcome limited resources. It will no doubt be appreciated by aspiring directors. The sound on the DVD is only 2 channel(a 5.1 mix would have been great),but it is still excellent. The image quality is top notch,it's as good as it's ever going to look, and it's widescreen. There are some artifacts and scratches present, but overall fantastic. You can finally fully appreciate what a monumental achievement this is.There are loads of extras.A commentary by the Chiodo Brothers that's not only informative, but very funny as well. You can see these guys have a warped sense of humor, even more so when you hear them explain how the film was made. There's also 2 deleted scenes,a making of featurette, theatrical trailer, and storyboards(my least favorite, even though i realize they are very important). There is also a highly entertaining home movie the brothers made when they were in there teens. There enormous talent and skill is on display in this early effort.Fans of the film won't need my reccomendation, but people who haven't seen Killer Klowns and are interested in inventive, entertaining, original comedy/hooror movies are encouraged to buy this film now.How can you go wrong with popcorn guns, homicidal klowns, cotton candy cocoons, and brilliant set pieces. The dialogue is side splitting too, especially the guy who plays a cop who despises young people,he practically steals the show. This film is an inspiration, and it might have more meaning for me because the Chiodos grew up in Deer Park,NY,about 30 minutes from where i did in Levittown.Thank You from an aspiring filmmaker.

Summary: KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE
Review: KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE is a science fiction/horror/comedy about a group of blood-thirsty aliens that look like clowns who land in a small California town and they go around putting the humans into cotton candy and storing them on there circus tent spaceship for later snacks. This cult classic "midnight movie" is being released on DVD for the very first time and it has many special features such as 5 behind-the-scenes featurettes, storyboards, deleted scenes, photo gallery, and a theatrical trailer. I have been a fan of this movie ever since I saw it as a little kid.
