Summary: "Sorry, sir, but I'm kind of an idiot..."
Review: Boy, is he ever. This has got to be one of the worst films ever shown on MST3K, a show that prides itself on bad films. Eegah takes a pre-Bond Richard Kiel (you know, Jaws) and dumps him in the complex and thoughtful role of a caveman looking for a little lovin'. Arch Hall Jr. puts the "er" in "hero" as the film's less than notable protagonist. Thankfully, we have Crow, Mike and Tom on our side as the dynamic trio deliver one-liners that will keep you rolling and make you actually consider watching the film by yourself just to see if things are really as funny as they make them out to be (it doesn't work, but it's included on the other side of the DVD if you want to try). Truly one of the worst movies in the world, and truly one of the funniest send-ups in the history of film. Go watch it. You'll like it. Well, you won't like it, but you'll like making fun of it.

Summary: Ugh!! Movie Bad MST3K Good!!
Review: If you ever wonder why some movies ever get made, rest assured that everything has a purpose. This movie, for example, is one of the finest fodder flicks (try saying that 3 times) for MST3K. I suspect that Mike and Joel are the descendants of the writers of this movie. I can hear them now "Son, I have a terrible secret. I helped write Eegah. Avenge me, son. Avenge me!!As with most MST3K flicks, I laughed myself silly.

Review: All the MST3K DVDs are worthwhile for the episodes they contain. One rant, however... I do wish Rhino would introduce some level of consistency to the disc production. I get the feeling all of the MST DVDs were made in someone's dorm room.

Notes: This movie is really hard to find and considered a collector's item. The only difference between the movie and a TV episode are a precious few amped up special effects, makeup and they hired a real actor to play in one of the skits (which I feel is a tragic mistake). It is not worth the (money) that it is going for in Amazon's Used section unless you're a diehard.

Summary: Now its making me sick!
Review: Non stop laughs from begining to end. MST3K is what happens to bad movies when they die, and this is a good example of a bad movie. I love the DVD format. The two versions of the movie are great. That way I can watch it with the comments, or see the unedited version.

Summary: This Is Why The Bad Could Be So Wonderful
Review: I used to love watching MST3K when Joel was hosting and one of my second all-time favorite episodes was Eegah. Just the title of this movie is crazy enough. My favorite parts were always when they made fun of the "sexy" looking Arch Hall Jr. The boy looked like some kind of demented cabbage patch doll. I highly recomend this one to anybody that liked "Manos" the Hands of Fate. By the way "Manos" is my first all-time favorite. They even get their two cents in on "Manos" in this episode as well. This dvd kicked major a@#.

Summary: Watch out for snakes!
Review: After watching such Mystery Science Theater 3000 classics such as Cave Dwellers and The Wild (Wild?) World of Batwoman, I thought that the horror/science fiction genre had reached an all-time low. This was before however, I had seen the phenomenon known as Eegah!
The by-far worst teen acting ever, opening credits that make you dizzy, and some completely random scenes featuring musical numbers, ancient Egyptian hyroglyphics, and some iguana on iguana action are all contributors to the mayhem (in the heaviest sense of the word) of the film. It is because of this, and the hilarious antics of the Satellite of Love crew members, that make the film worth any price.
Favorite lines include, "Will the gentlemen by the side of the pool please discontinue the song... and watch out for snakes", "I'm not saying he was a monster. He was a giant... a caveman.", and "Wow-Dee Wow WOW!!!"
Enjoy also the MST3K group's mishaps as they try to manipulate Joel's face to resemble Arch Hall Jr.'s, as well as reach absolute zero.

Summary: I love you Vicki, you know I do!
Review: An overlooked MST episode, this terrible romantic-adventure comedy, features a caveman named Eegah, a scientist-type guy, his daughter, and her boyfriend. The plot concerns EEgah's love for the girl, and his pursuit of her from the desert to Palm Springs. This episode contains way too many songs by Arch Hale Junior, as the daughter's gas jockey boyfriend, the host segments are great, plus it features Joel. This DVD includes unMSt-ed version of Eegah, if you want to see the movie in it's orginal, w/o Joel and the bots. Great DVD for many msties, and not a bad starter MSt either.

Summary: A creepy Teen, a creepy Dad, and a creepy Kiel
Review: This is probably my fave MST3K film of all time. I bet Marilyn "Roxy" Manning was getting it on with Arch "Dad" Hall Sr. (who went by a few aliases as writer, director, etc. - nothing to be proud of). Arch Hall Jr. is so weird looking - and he wears tiny shorts to boot. Badddddd editing, sound, and a 4 color scheme, along with Arch Jr's. songs and a wooden Kiel make this EegahhhhhhORRIBLE!

Summary: Classic stuff!
Review: This one has a cool feature - a little Crow icon appears when there are scenes that the MiSTies don't watch. It actually gives you a chance to see what these movies are really like! (If you care). Oh, and you get the original movies too! If you are an MST3k fan this is a must have. I just wish they would start putting more of the series on DVD. There are some classics out there!!

Summary: The pain, the pain
Review: EEGAH is the stereotypically bad early-60's movie that MST3k thrives on. Bad acting, bad musical numbers, bad dialogue, bad editing, bad directing and bad concept. It's just bad. This makes it an ideal target for the Mystery Science Theater 3000 team's ridicule. As usual, nothing is spared; jokes include everything from taunts about the protagonists' dated hairstyles to the mocking of the truly awful dubbing that runs rampant through the film. Make no mistake - this is an excruciatingly bad film and it gets everything that it deserves in this ridiculing. The host segments are amusing, but as always the real humour comes from the film. And there is a lot of material when you have such winning ideas as: a caveman who keeps his dead and decaying relatives strewn about his cave, a truly creepy sequence in which a daughter shaves her father just to pass the time of day, lots and lots of singing from your star, and the lead female who likes the caveman despite his brutal attacks. It's painful and frightening. MST3K has really done well in the Great Transfer to DVD. In this episode, not only are both MST3Ked and non-edited versions included, but while watching the episode one also has the option of flipping back and forth to and from the unedited version so that you can see exactly what was cut to make room for the host segments. It allows the viewer to truly experience how amazingly poor the movie is though it's not altogether clear whether this is a good idea or not. I do not recommend watching the film without the comfort and wit of a guy and his two robots tearing it to pieces.
