Summary: Long, boring violence with no plot
Review: This film stole three hours of my life.

The plot is simple; Woody Harrelson and Juliette Lewis (two extremely talented people, I might add)go on a shooting rampage. When I watched this film I had the feeling that we were supposed to like the main characters, but there's something about gun-wielding maniacs that makes me feel uncomfortable. The fact is that I didn't care one way or another about what happened to them, I just wanted to get the damn movie over with.

Summary: Its only a movie
Review: I shouldn't be surprised, but it is very notivable that the people who hate this movie seem incapable of differentiating between fantasy and reality.

This film is about America's obsession with real-life violence, and the underlying message of it is that no matter how grisly and bloody Stone can make it, its still Woody Harrelson, Juliette Lewis, blank shells and fake blood! Compared to the cult of celebrity attached to real killers and the obsession with seeing 'reality TV - the bloodier and more 'shocking' the better, a mere movie is nothing.

Summary: Visually beautiful, but utterly devoid of depth
Review: I suppose the "point" of NBK (and Oliver Stone never makes a movie without trying to beat the audience over the head with a message) is that the title characters are at least honest about their bloodlust, while the media and society are more hypocritical-condemming it while secretely enjoying it. I say "suppose" because I'm not sure-this movie, though stunning to _watch_ (the different colors and film stocks are a treat for the eyes) has a huge gaping hole where a screeenplay should be. The key problem isn't that the title characters are so repellent-it's that every other character is equally repellent, and for the same reasons, which makes them all interchangeable. There is no real characterization (despite the efforts of a mostly superb cast) and so by the end, it really doesn't matter who lives or dies-which makes for a flat, uncompelling film. I give it 2 stars for the visuals and the acting-otherwise, it's forgettable.

Summary: Oliver Stone at his best
Review: NATURAL BORN KILLERS is the best movie Oliver Stone has done since "PLATOON" it's wickedly funny but I warn you it's not the type of movie squeemish people should see.

Summary: Idiotic
Review: The film that I heard so much about was from beginning to end, a waste of money and time. Graphically, mindless, stupid, and pointless violence makes up this film. NBK might be credited for the reason you dont see Woody Harrelson in any good movies any more. Actually none come to mind anyway. Oliver Stone is over rated, which is an understatement, because most actors and directors are these days. Oliver Stone, Tarrintino, and Araki and others come up with a series of violent sh-t and "offensive" images to show you, knowing that most viewers will be so "outraged" by it they'll forget the pointless plot. NBK was popular for its violence, there is nothing else in this movie. So if you dont enjoy graphic, bloody, mindless, violence, over and over and over, then dont see this.

Summary: The Movie Was different and it made me think. I liked it.
Review: I think that Oliver Stone is one great director. This movie stands out to be one of his best.

Summary: Everthing you heard is true...
Review: This is a joyfully violent and outrageous movie, with fantastic performances from everybody (including Rodney Dangerfield as the Father from Hell). The story trips along in a bloody mosaic, following the love of the star-crossed lovers, Mickey & Mallory. It isn't that these two aren't murderous psychos, but that society (and the cops who hunt and cage them) is just as sick and twisted as they are.The fact this movie is already blamed for several real life killings just shows that Oliver Stone's vision rings true. We don't mind being a nation of victims, just as long as we get our faces on the evening news. Be sure to get the director's cut, btw, it has the true ending Stone wanted.

Summary: Possibly one of the best love stories ever told...
Review: ...and a damn funny one at that

Summary: One of those movies that really make you think...
Review: My brother presented this movie to me, and I immediately became entranced. It was purely in the point of view of the killers and really made a point. For those who didn't see the point and depth in this movie, you are exactly the superficial, surface people who would watch a movie like Clueless.

Summary: An Excellent Film -- Not Pleasant to Watch
Review: This is truly one of the most captavating films I have ever seen but I am disappointed that it was not rated NC-17. I guess the commitee that rates films is apparently as desensitized to violence as anyone else who thinks this film was "fun to watch" rather than "had a serious message".
