Summary: AWEFUL!
Review: I was so discouraged when I saw how poorly this film was made. The special effects were sad and the acting was really bad! The sequel to this movie is even worse! Don't bother seeing it unless you want to have a good laugh!

Summary: Perfect...........of type
Review: Quentin Tarretino apparently likes to involve himself in films with no plot to speak of, or in which the plot is irrelevant. FROM DUSK TO DAWN is a case in point. It reduces the post-Hammer Vampire film to it's most basic elements: the world is a scary place, full of monsters, where sex and death are messy twins. There are no philisophical points. There is no character development. There are no good guys. The movie is about as subtle as a hand grenade. Nevertheless, what it does it does perfectly. If you liked the Hammer horror films of the '70's ... a lot of blood, spookey makeup, and as much sex as the censors would let by (then), then you will like this film. This is a "B" grade horror film, at the top of it's class for style. If you don't LIKE "B" grade horror films, this isn't for you.

Summary: IMO... The best Vampire movie ever.
Review: I first caught this movie from the opening credits, right after the "World O Liquor" get's blown up, and was hooked. For me this movie was different from anything else I have ever seen. It starts out setting up a kidnapping plot, but takes such a sharp turn in the middle of the movie, you're left breathless. Another thing I really liked was the fact that all you're good guys don't save the day and walk out of the movie breathing, only Seth and Kate remain, which played for a really cool ending. The soundtrack is also kewl, I found the cover theme "Dark Night" by The Blasters to be a very good song, as most made-for-movie songs are not.

You really should pick this movie up or at least rent it. You'll find it a very different film.

Summary: Great Movie
Review: Some people dont like this movie. Thats their choice. I think that if you take this movie too seriously or if you are all about "romanticizing" vampires, then this movie really isnt for you. Its got descent special effects, good acting, especially Clooney, and an Ok plot. Granted, the ending could have been a little better, but it is still pretty good. Unfortunatly, one of the coolest things about the movie i think is the tattoo that CLooney's character has. If you dont finish the film, you dont get to see the whole tattoo and trust me, its really cool. So check this out if you like vampires and tough guy characters.

Summary: I don't get it.
Review: This is described on the box as "Hip and funny." Tarantino's character rapes and murders a hostage. Clooney and Tarantino shoot up a clerk and eventually burn him alive. Someone explain this to me - which one is hip and which one is funny? And that's before this turkey turns into an ridiculous special effects gore fest vampire movie. I don't get it, and I don't want to.

Summary: awesome movie
Review: The first time i saw this movie, i had no idea that halfway through it was going to turn into the best vampire movie ever. Anyone else who wants to try to do better is an idiot. This is my favorite George CLooney film, and he should stick to toughguy roles like this one.

Summary: The best plot twist in film history
Review: You have the criminals on the run for the border and their hostages. Sounds like a Tarentino/Rodriguez combonation doesn't it? The first half of this plays like an average crim film with an average plot. Nothing sensational aside from the unusual cast and some great Tarentino dialogue. All of a sudden when they go to this bar (I don't think I can print the name) to hide out and out of nowhere the place starts crawling with lots of vampires turning the crime film into a horror film with all the necessary gore to go with it. This film is quite an exercise and is guarenteed cult status in the future. Check it out if you haven't already. George Cloony, Harvey Kietel, and Tarentino light up the screen and Rodriguez directs Tarentino's script with brilliance. The film is a ton of fun and there is some great Southern blues/rock music in it too.

Summary: It's going to be one HELL of a night!
Review: This is by far the best vampire movie ever made and to all those who gave it one star must be blind or are more into true story movies. Even Stevie Wonder could see this is a classic. If you like horror, suspense and a whole load of laugh then this is for you!
