Review: I hated it and regret that I bought it. Bought it because I'm a big Kim Basinger fan. But this movie did nothing for me but keep my finger on FF. Save your money and if you want to see 9 1/2 weeks maybe they'll show it on cable or something.

Review: This is movie is artfully crafted and filmed. GREAT CASTING! Mickey Rourke has the rep of a bad boy but is as sexually desirable , decadent, almost insatiable as he has ever been on film. Kim Basinger is also exotically gorgeous as Elizabeth. These two create a gem of a film not to be missed!!!

Summary: The things you can do with fruit!
Review: This film caused quite a stir when it came out, but with the passage of time one has to ask why. Kim Basinger's devotion to Mickey Rourke never seems very believable, while for much of the movie he seems to be parodying his own part. One thing that can be said in its favor is that it captures the atmosphere of New York much better than most films. Also, even if Miss Basinger's striptease is pretty ludicrous, the video is almost worth getting just to listen to Joe Cocker's "You Can Leave Your Hat On". As for the fruit scene, well, it must have been more fun acting in it than it is watching it.

Review: So here's this: I was walkign around the video store and I spy this cover with the kind of hot but kind of old chick from LA Confidential on it, but get this - she's yound as hell and it looks like she gets naked. So sure I'll bite. I get home and it's full on hard core drilling. Rorke gets this chick in some crazy ass positions and the whole time I'm thinking, I thought women were into "making love" not performing "rough crazy sex acts." So I tried some of the stuff from this movie out on this girl I was dating. Turns out she wasn't into it. Turns out she's only into "traditional love-making." Being alone isn't so bad.
