Summary: Horrible show, complete rip-off of Dune
Review: Not one other reviewer has metioned Dune. They cannot be blamed for thier ignorance; Dune is not a well known movie. It (Dune) was made in 1984, five years before Tremors--a horrible movie, that proves Dune is not a rip-off of Tremors. The book Dune--a great sci-fi novel was written over twenty years before Tremors was produced. I think Tremors is the epitome of "Cool-dude" movies. I liked the movie; it was entertaining--that's what I thought six years ago when I was seven. I can't stress this enough, it was just a horrible movie. Review: "Tremors" is a very good film, but there some things that go noticed."Tremors" is about a bunch of mutated worms running a muk in a small desert town with a population of few. So all the people come together and try to stop the worms in their place. "Tremors" has a small story line, but the story line fits into the full 95 minutes of this film. The acting is great, the acting makes the movie a bit believable. The suspense in this movie is great and it makes you part of the action. I gave this movie four stars, I would give it a low four and a half, but Amazon.Com dosen't offer it so I give it four stars. This is a very good movie, and you will love this movie. This "B-Monster Flick" is one of the best movies of it's kind. Rent it today!

Summary: Some Things ARE New Under The Sun
Review: This is a truly great film. Script, casting, humor...As others have pointed out, Tremors resurrects the 50's monster movie genre, but it actually offers some new twists. I've been watching B-movies for at least 32 of my 40 years ...I've seen monsters burned, electrocuted, nuked, dissolved, chopped, diced, pureed, crushed...you name it, I've seen it. The writers of Tremors actually came up with new ways to kill the monster! I thought I'd seen it all. In addition, anytime humor is mixed successfully with horror, the result is that the viewer is kept off balance and on the edge of their seat. In my opinion, this is one of the best monster movies of the past twenty years.

Review: Love the special effects, the characters and the plot. Val & Earl may be country handymen, but they are heroic - very responsible. Rhonda the seismologist student is smart and a survival. Burt & wife are a matching pair. Great potrayal of Val & Rhonda subtle attractions. And the creatures, they learn fast. Each can only be destroyed in a different way, first by accident upon hitting RC drain head on, second by elephant gun, third by "bomb fishing technique" and last by tricking it into jumping off the cliff. Absolutely great movie!

Review: Perhaps the greatest B-movie monster flick/creature-feature ever made. A non-stop roller-coaster of a movie which will entertain and enthrall you from start to finish. At last a movie where the acting and storyline surpasses the special effects which are top-notch. The sequel is also a must, vastly under-rated, I only wish the original was re-released on VHS-PAL (UK)!!!!!!!!
