Summary: can u please tell me what ive been watching for 90 minutes?
Review: this movie is very bad. i enjoyed the first friday to some degree, and was expecting a more comical sequel give the box office take of NEXT FRIDAY. what i got was more dirty jokes and stereotypes left and right, and not much of it was funny. a lot of the same topics are rehashed and beaten to death by the poor script and horrible acting. i chuckled maybe 4 or 5 times, and that was it in terms of comedic value. the film is confused, leaving the viewer even more confused.

Summary: THIS MOVIE SUX
Review: All I will do is name all funny bits: .......................

THIS SUX, I advise anyone with half brain not to purchase this garbage. I actually used this disk as toilet paper, after I'd watched it once. Ice Cube is a dude, but this? Three Kings to This. No thats funny. The chris Tucker wannabe was so un funny that I scanned over his scenes. One thing this disk does do, is make an ideal frisby. This is one of those films you wait till it comes on tv to watch it again.

Summary: Horrible
Review: This movie is an absolute mess.

Not that I ever thought Cube had any talent to begin with, but when I found out he wrote this garbage, he sank deeper into the depths of misery. I was shocked an adult actually wrote this.

How long can you sit through fart jokes until you've had enough? "Too much hot sauce on the burrito" followed by a fart effect. That's hilarious. That's all this movie is. It's not funny, it's not entertaining, and it certainly has no redeeming quality to it if you're older than six.

Buy 'Problem Child 2'. It's the same exact thing, but at least the children can actually get away with reading those lines. They're better actors too.

Don't buy this movie.

The DVD offers a director and Ice Cube commentary that's actually funnier than anything in the film. In the beginning, Cube and Steve Carr actually state that they thought this was an innovative film. Now that's comedy!!

Summary: My Thoughts On Next Friday.........."Because it's
Review: Alright, the summary of the film is that it is the next Fridayand Craig, must leave the hood because Debo is going to escape from the pen and his Pops wants him to get out. He takes him to his "I just struck rich" Brother in Rancho Cuchamongo{?}. While he is their, Craig meets back up with his cousin, Day-Day, who has his own problem. His ex, who was six months pregant when she meet him, says he his the father and her Sister,"Baby-D".

So Craig, Day-Day and His Friend "Roach", have to deal with some problems. For insatnce, Day-Day's Father, has maxed out his money and must come up with money they do not have.

Also, Craig notices that there is a very sexy latin lady across the street. So, the problem is that her brothers are some tough guys. They are the "Jokers".The Three Vatos.

So, Craig must help the family.

My Thoughts...

Alrighty, I really think this is a funny movie. The Stepmom "Sugar" is really funny. The sceene at "Pinky's" in the back room with Day-Day, Roach and Craig was great. The Posse was great too. One Word: Mailman!

There little things were some mis-ups in there, like Craig said Smokey went to rehab last month and with his problem he would be in there for a long time. The problem is that it is The NEXT FRIDAY and that in the previous movie Smokey was Blazn' the outro.

DVD Thoughts:

A really good DVD. It had plenty of features,Altenate Ending,Bloopers and alot more.

I Recommend it to anyone with a sense of humor.

Have A Nice LIFE...

Summary: Chris Tucker may have saved this movie.
Review: I have to be honest and say I watched this movie whilst sitting in front of my PC before it was out at the theatres. I did get an extremely POOR quality copy but caught the gist (spelling?) of it all the same.

I am an avid fan of Friday. I am an avid fan of Chris Tucker. I was not too impressed with Next Friday. Although Friday was seen by most people as an average / below average B grade ghetto comedy, I feel it was more than that. The chemistry between Chris Tucker and Ice Cube was perfect. Almost all the scenes with the pair (and with Chris by himself) had me laughing. I cant say the same for Next Friday.

Next Friday did came out as an average / below average B Grade ghetto comedy. It did not meet the benchmark Friday set for it and fell well below. The character development implemented was very shallow and some of the scenes in the movie could have been left out as they did not seem to keep the movie flowing in the least. I dont really know what else to say about the movie apart from it wasn't the same without Chris Tucker. It definitely wont make it to my collection.

Do check it out if you are a fantatical ICE CUBE or FRIDAY fan but please dont expect the same quality and laughs you may have had from Friday.

Summary: Ay-yi-yi.............
Review: Can you say wickity wack? Unlike it's predessesor, "Next Friday" tries to repeat some of the comic ingenues of the classic prequel "Friday" but ends up shooting itself in the foot so to speak. Without Chris Tucker and the writing styles of DJ Pooh, Ice Cube tries desperately to bring this next episode to life, but falters due in part to a hell of a lot of miscasts and overall bad acting. I think some of the actors (the guy playing the cholo dude and the guy playing Ice Cube's cousin) need to brush up on thier acting skills. That's what I'm talking about, that's all I'm saying, ya dig? Do I need to go there with the extreme close up on the cholo dude saying "that dog's got issues", as if were supposed to jump up and burst out laughing. What's up with that? There is such a thing as "comedic timing", oh and utilize it, Ice Cube. Missing are the quirky yet freaky characters of the original "Friday". Dee-bo was shacked up in a damn cage the whole movie, what a waste of talent. Where's the logic behind that move? We want to see Dee-bo acting crazy, duh! The oriental hip hop lady provided some comical relief but not enough to save this ship from sinkage. Don't fool yourself into believing this is a funny movie. I think people are afraid to criticize rappers, hey they make mistakes too, and don't worry, just because they release something that's wack, it's ok to let them know, they won't bust a cap in yo........azz i was saying, this movie needed Chris and maybe a prayer or two. Peace out like sasoon.

Summary: Great Sequel!
Review: This was one of the best sequels I have ever seen. That is if you liked the first Friday. It is the same kind of dry humour, that most of us love, but some of us hate. Could've included Chris Tucker but did well without him. Watch this for a laugh.

Summary: Pretty good; not as great as I thought it would be
Review: This movie was okay. Some hilarious scenes, but when it's all said and done, this movie leaves more to be desired. What happens to Karla and Craig? Why didn't Ice Cube use Debo more often? And the million-dollar-question, WHERE'S SMOKEY! Day-Day and Joker pick up the slack, but it's just not the same without Chris Tucker's big and loud mouth. Rent it first and go from there.
