VERY FUNNY, AND I LIKE HOW IT CAPTURES THE SOFTER SIDE OF THE GHETTO. CHRIS TUCKER LITERALLY STOLE THE SHOW IN EVERY SCENE THAT HE WAS IN. SCREW THE NEGATIVE THINGS THAT CRITICS SAY ABOUT THIS MOVIE, THIS WAS VERY HILLARIOUS AND EVERYONE THAT WATCHES THIS MOVIE GOTTA ADMIT THAT. FOLLOWED BY TWO SEQUELS, BEGINNING WITH NEXT FRIDAY.

Review: Friday, the first instalment in the hilarious trilogy is the 2nd best. If you dont already own this dvd,pick it up today, and watch how Smokey (Chris Tucker), and Craig (Ice Cube) go on Craigs first hilarious Friday adventure! ps I also reccomend Next Friday,and Friday after next.

Summary: Friday is my favorite day of the week
Review: This is one of my most favorite comedies around. It stars Ice Cube and Chris Tucker. Chris Tucker was my favorite character. Craig( Ice Cube) and Smokey( Chris Tucker)must pay back a drug dealer named Big Worm because Smokey smoked up his weed. Which is really funny! Craig and Smokey must also stop a theif named Debo(tiny'little'zester)I don't know how to spell his name. This whole movie happens in one day. As Craig and Smokey are chillin on Craig's porch, neighborhood characters drop by and do the funniest acts I have ever saw. I can't never get tired of this movie. You should rent or buy it. It is FUNNY!

Review: I had ifs about this movie cause all I heard is how it takes place infront of one guys porch witnessing all these things happening right infront of him. So now done watching it this is a good comedy movie with a good story. Chris Tucker is in it and Ice Cube is the main guy where it all comes to him on Friday. So why did I like this movie? Mainly because movies like Cube, rely on one location and the characters to create a good imaginative vibe through their acting. This is funny!

Summary: I love this movie!
Review: This movie is a classic and can never be duplicated. I don't care how many Friday sequels they make, without Chris Tucker they are nothing. Ice Cube and Chris Tucker are an unbeatable team with great chemistry together. They played off each other so well and the overall cast meshed really well together. The main thing that this one has that the other ones lack is obviously Chris Tucker, but besides him they lack simplicity. This movie was so simple that it worked, it didn't try too hard to be funny mainly because of the natural talents of Chris, but all of the characters were likeable and funny, yeah even Deebo. Also Craig was 10 times more likeable and believeable in this one than in the other ones. What happened to the pairing of Debbie (Nia Long) and Craig they were supposed to hook up at the end of this one, but they acted like she never existed in the other movies. Overall, this is the best and most memorable of the series, they should have left it alone at this one, instead of wasting their time and money on the sorry sequels. I'm just going to pretend like the other ones don't exist and remember this one for the true classic it is.

Summary: Enjoyable and well made but no biggie
Review: I've seen this film two times and I just don't get it. All the fury about it. It's funny, it's well made, but I don't get the humor; I understand it and all that. The cool part about the movie is it shows life in the hood compressed into a 24 hour period, which is a nice narrative device. I liked the movie, thought it was nicely done, but just couldn't laugh at it, though I really wanted to. I'd still recommend it because of all the praise it's gotten. Just as an example of funny films - take a look at The In-Laws (made in 1979, not the remake). That film is funny, however unreal the activities are.

Review: I just love this movie! I laughed until my sides hurt the first time I seen it. I've seen it probably 50 or 60 more times since, and I still laugh all thru it! It's just one of those classic movies about the way life goes for most people during the time between graduating high school and getting a real job. I'd give it 10 stars if I could. And the new release is even better.

Review: This is a great comdey. I think it has a good message about teens/young adults and guns. I think teens should watch this movie. Even though it does have language and drug usage, but I think teens should see the point about how guns don't make you a man.

Review: This movie was extremly funny. Ice Cube and Chris Tucker are great. This is a simple movie, but it doesnt matter, it keeps you laughing and guessing about what will happen next. This is definitely worth the price.
