Rating: Summary: Woody at his best Review: What can i say - this is one of my all time favorite flicks. Woody Allen does any amazing job bringing back New York City in the 1940's. This is pure movie magic and his oratory is brilliant. Let's just remember - this movie is for people with something more than an 8th grade reading level (as all of Woody's movies seem to be). Don't look for special effects or the usual garbage in large budget movies. This is just pure Woody Allen doing what he does best - fleshing out a good story. Movie's don't get much better than this....
Rating: Summary: hits you right in the memories Review: Woody Allen writes and directs most of my life. I have always been a fan since "Sleeper" made me wet my pants laughing in the Alabama theater in Birmingham, on a first date with a boy I never saw again! But, if you are a baby boomer, as I am, this movie will hit some place in your mind that you remember happening in your life. It is wonderful. I watch it whenever I get homesick for my childhood.
