A Night at the Roxbury

Summary: You've got to be kidding me.
Review: There is no more comedy in this excruciating film, no more substance, no more JOKES than in an average four minute SNL skit. These characters are so poorly conceived, and the people they encounter so cliched, that there is not one chance at making a joke above mocking lame club boys. It's too bad, because there is so much potential material. The ONLY truly funny character is the weight trainer, his scene in the club. This movie sucks.

Review: Ok, so this movie doesn't answer any of life's more delicate questions. You gotta admit, though, it's a good time.
I like the movie, and the characters these guys play. Doug and Steve Butabi are so completely out of the loop, yet they remain clueless to this fact. They head-bob their way through life, and everything in the end works out exactly as they always knew it would.
p.s.- The scene in the car where the brothers are doing their "vogue" routine is priceless. Chris Kattan's line about all the work they put into it had me laughing uncontrollably. (Who would practice such a thing?)
An overall good movie if you don't take yourself to seriously.
