Summary: Threads
Review: I don't know if anyone else has mentioned this yet, but did you notice how a lot of the threads (themes?) that began in the very first episode were continued and, for the most part, tied up in the final one? Obviously the Ross and Rachel relationship. And, more indirectly, Phoebe's singing and apparent love for musicals (particularly "The Sound of Music"). Anyhow, just thought I'd mention it.

And yeah, I'll miss the show. Could I BE any sadder? Despite what the critics might say, I think it was one of the funniest sit-coms to have graced the face of television in recent years. Yup. So sad, but it was probably a good time to go. On the plus side, at least it's good to know that the "Friends" aren't completely leaving show biz, but will still remain largely visible with future movie, TV, etc. roles. Hey, with her singing and guitar strumming talent, Phoebe should produce a musical CD or something! Just kidding. (That'd make for way too blatant merchandising.) Seriously, though, I hope the "Joey" spin-off takes off, so that the other five can make frequent visits.(...)

Summary: Why buy this?
Review: The last episdoe was great. THe whole ten years were great. The ending was the perfect ending.. but why would anyone buy this. Just wait until the whole season 10 comes out on DVD and buy that. Then you can see the episodes that lead up to the amazing ending of the great sitcom.

Summary: It's over? Was it ever on?
Review: Hey I know. 51 MILLION VEIWERS watched this thing. But as one of the few people on the planet glad to see the endless hype (two hours of "news" specials? Nightly updates on NBC news affilaites? With a war going on and an election on the horizon? Puh-LEEZE...) come to a conclusion, I wonder why so many people can get worked up over a predictable sitcom about pretentious people, but can barely work up the energy to walk out the door on election day and perform the simple act of voting....

Sigh.

Summary: Fraiser and Friends Finale
Review: First of all one great show that has been lost in this hype is Fraiser. Kelsey Grammar has been playing his character for 20 years and no one gives him credit. Also the reason why so many people watched the finale is because there were so many commercials that people just had to see what the big hype was. If there wasnt as much hype not as many people would have watched the finale. Fraiser is definetly better than Friends. Friends is just basically overpaid and overrated actors except maybe Matthew Perry.

Summary: An Episode to Remember
Review: This truly is an episode to remember. It stays with the Friends-tune with clever jokes and outbursts, but when it comes down to it all, its a major tear-jerker! Say a final goodbye to your best friends: (from left on cover) Phoebe Buffay, Ross Geller, Monica Geller, (bottom row) Chandler Bing, Rachel Greene, and Joey Tribianni. Joey has his own NBC spin-off based on his "Friends" character coming out this fall. This episode has the perfect ending for all of the story lines. No spoilers here... Order it yourself, to see the perfect ending to the most popular sitcom of our pop culture. The actors and writers of the show are extrordinary and unforgetable! Bring a box of tissues if you truly love these "Friends". . .

Summary: Symbolism Galore
Review: This episode had so many key stories all resolved in such a charming, funny manner. But for me the last few scenes (which sort of nailed the coffin shut so to speak) was amazing. For instance, the song playing in the background when Ross and Rachel kissed was the same one that had played when said event occured 8 or so years back. Focusing the final frame on the peephole after panning the entire apartment and the 6 Friends' keys that were left behind on the table was rife with symbolism - but it wasn't a depressing scene - it was happy and the viewer felt that whatever life these 6 friends will lead for the rest of their lives will be just as happy as the past ten years they spent with us.

Summary: Friends-no suprises here
Review: Well, once I got interested in Friends, I only watched it for one reason- to see if Ross and Rachel end up together. Well I am glad that the writers gave everybody what they wanted. Though this last season was full of mindless plots just so NBC could squeeze another year out of the show.(and I cringed when they put Joey together with Rachel-bad idea!) But I watched it every week- because I am a sucker for guy gets girl stories. And I more than anybody wanted to see Ross end up with Rachel. It was a fitting end to a great show. It was fun to watch. Thursday nights won't be the same.

Summary: Predictable...
Review: I think I've watched maybe three episodes of Friends since it first aired 10 years ago, and even I knew how it was going to end.

WOW! Rachel got back with Ross. What a suprise!

Summary: Finally, What the Fans Wanted
Review: For someone who has often been dissapointed with series finales (Kevin and Winnie didn't end up together on "The Wonder Years" and Dawson and Joey didn't end up together on "Dawson's Creek"). It's about time the writers wrote an ending the fans actually wanted to see (...)!!!

Kudos to the writers and cast for 10 great years. This DVD will not only let you see the pilot episode and the series finale in it's entirety...but the series finale is also presented in an "extended version" for the fans who want to see more!!!

Summary: Forever FRIENDS
Review: It is really dissapointing to see (rather read) how much jelosy the success of others can generate. As it was well pointed out in one of the reviews, this website is reserved for comments about the DVD of the final episode not the whole show. I am and always will be a fan of Friends. In my opinion (something everyone is entitle to) this was the greatest comedy show there was and it has ten years to its name to prove it. I love every single episode even though there are some better than others. I love the final episode and even though I watched it two nights ago and I plan to buy every single season, I still want to buy this limited edition of the finale. Was it predictable that Ross and Rachel were going to end up together? You bet! Did that make it bad? Not in the least! I particularly loved the way they finally came to be together. The word was out on the TV Guide a week before that they were in fact going to end up together, just how it should have been. I am somewhat sad that the show is over but they'll always be on syndication which is somehow comforting. And for all of you that are jelous of the earning of the cast read this "over the next ten years it is estimated that each of the cast members will receive over 55 millions in syndication rights alone" --now how you like that? And I have one last question if any of you thought the show was so bad, why did you bother watching it?
