Summary: As if Joel and the Bots had not suffered enough
Review: As a avid 8 year fan of the comedic Mystery Science Theater 3000 TV program (I missed most of the beginning season), I can say that this could very well be the worst piece of cinema they have ever set their views upon. However, don't take that to mean that this is a bad video to buy, for the more terrible the movie, the better the hilarity. I spent half of my time watching this laughing my head off at Torgo (the thick kneed "monster" that watches over the "resort" while the "master" is away). I can very easily suggest that this might be the best buy for any Mistie out there looking for a few, no make that hundreds, of laughs.

Summary: The Travel Brochure for Hell
Review: If I ever came across this movie without Joel and the Bots I would probably hurl chunks. Why would any movie studio distribute something like this? Torgo, ah yes, sweet gentle Torgo, how we loved him...well actually we hated him but he was so ridiculously stoned we had to love him.

Summary: PLEASE DON'T, HAVE MERCY ON OUR SOULS
Review: HELP ME! PLEASE! These are the only words you'll be able to utter after watching this horrible(no, horrible isn't even a good word to describe this movie), When they come up with a word to describe this movie I'll let you know. What's with that Torgo guy,What's with the girls laying around on concrete slabs with white night gowns on,What's with the plot(better yet,Where IS the plot). If this guy Manos is so powerful in the black arts, why does he live in a run down 1 room shack in the middle of the dessert. I can't think of any movie I could ever watch that would be more horrible than this one, except this movie without Joel and the Bots.I have seen the devil and he is the director of this movie.

Summary: One of their finest
Review: Even before viewing Manos: Hands of fate (Manos is Spanish for Hands....thus HANDS: HANDS OF FATE!) I knew this was going to be a BAD film. I was correct in my assumptions, this movie was aweful...yet Joel and the gang managed to weave this turd into one of the finest MST3k's that I've had the pleasure to watch.

The plot flows like cold honey until it seems like even the director got bored....I honestly can't get my brain to remember the whole story line, but needless to say it's unimportant. I whole-heartedly suggest this video to your collection!

Summary: OH MY GOD
Review: Manos Hands of Fate makes Robot Monster look like Citizen Kane. This MST3K offering is absolutely hilarious - it is painfully bad - it has to be seen to be believed. A must!

Summary: Oh My God
Review: The fact that human beings ever got together and said, "Hey this is a great idea, let's make this movie," is the really scary part of this film. This one is so bad that it was tough to follow anything that was going on. To make matters worse, it was a bit creepy. I felt like I was watching a home movie of some malevolent cult.

Summary: 5 stars for MST3K, -25 stars for Manos: Hands of Fate
Review: PU! What reeks! Why, it must be Manos: Hands of Fate, whatever the fek that means!; a movie about I don't know what, starring who the hell cares! This movie has got to be one of the worst ever commented on by Joel and the 'bots. Compared to this, movies like The Brain That Wouldn't Die and Angel's Revenge almost seem coherent. Fortunately, sometimes the worst movies make for the best MST3K episodes. Joel Hodgson and his robot pals are in top form here. They never skip a beat throughout the entire uh, movie (for lack of a better word), unlike some other stinkers reviewed by MST3K where, during some stretches, a sort of lull is reached and even the cast is helpless to make the show endurable; that's not the case with M:HOF. Hats off to MST3K.

Summary: DEEEEEP HURTING!
Review: This movie lives to hurt others! Be forwarned. Only in it's protective sheath of MST3K intervention should it be viewed! This is arguably the most perfect MST3K ever aired. It will enhance your amusement if you watch it with a friend, but they should be a Misty. There is not enough padding in a matress shop to ease the burnt of this pain. Buy it!

Summary: Justifiably a Forgotten Movie
Review: From what I gather, a fertilizer salesman named Hal Warren (also the 'dad'in the film) had a friend in the movie business who was successful, and decided that movie making looked easy. So he scraped together about twenty five thousand, bought some low grade film stock, and wandered out into the el paso boondocks with a theater group and some girls from a modeling school.

The camera was a disgrace that operated on a spring loaded mechanism, so that none of the scenes in the film could be held for more than about fifteen seconds before the spring had to be rewound. There were no sound recording facilities, so all the voices were dubbed onto the film (Joel points out that when 'dad' and the policeman wrangle over a ticket-it is the same man talking in both instances).

The script was also a misery, surpassing even Coleman Francis'lack of cohesion and incompetency in maintaining a plot.

It was shown only once in an El Paso movie theater, and packed away. How it ever saw the light of day again, or even made it to a cable television show is beyond me.

Watch and wonder along with me, as this terrible movie fumbles painfully forward into the unlikely annals of the worst MST film of all time.

Fame at last!
