Review: Exquisite production of Jane Austen's most prized novel. (It was her personal favorite work, as it is mine.) I read the book before I ever saw the movie, and felt it was the only one to really stay true to the novel. Just watching the movie made my heart beat faster, as the book had done. It doesn't let go, and at the end it left me craving more. I could watch this movie everyday. I have developed an obsession over this story, I just can't get enough.

Review: Pride and Prejudice is the absolute best. It is so beautiful and charming and funny that I can watch it over and over and over. Colin Firth is, in my oppinion, one of the best and most charming actors around and he makes Mr.Darcy into one of the most handsome, great and most desirable men around. Lizzy Bennet is a great role model for young women today. Her wonderful spirit and up beat attitude is so charming and it's no wonder that she makes Mr.Darcy crazy in love for her and change his whole attitude. Watch it!!

Summary: A Beautiful Movie to Watch Over and Over Again!
Review: I first watched the miniseries on A&E with my mother, who insisted I would love it. Needless to say, I did! The costumes, the beautiful English countryside, and the superb acting by Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy and Jennifer Ehle as Elizabeth Bennett, was entrancing! I later read the book and found the movie stayed true to Austen's words. I would recommend purchasing this movie to anyone, just as I did! I fall in love with Mr. Darcy every time!

The script is excellently adapted, and the actors are wonderful!This is one of the greatest and most clever works of literature, and it makes an excellent film. Elizabeth Bennet is such an amazing character, and her story is charming and romantic.

Review: I had always heard of Pride and Prejudice and didn't really pay it much thought till I saw this movie. I think it is one of my favorites next to Jane Eyre anyway I love Mrs. Bennet because she is clueless!!

Review: I have seen this movie in a cable channel here in Brazil. I loved! After that, I read the book and the others Jane Austen's works. I had already seen others movies based on Jane Austen books like Sense and Sensibility and Perssuation but, Pride and Prejudice is something quite special. Colin Firth, a unknow actor in my country, impressed me deeply. He is such a perfect actor, besides a very handsome and charming man, that he gave to Mr Darcy, an unforgetable character. I have seen him in other works (The English Patient and Sheakspeare in Love) and he is really an great actor. Anyway, Iwould like to see this movie again and again.
