Rating: Summary: Brilliant! Review: The appeal of this show seems to me, in part, by the fact that there is a little bit of Carrie, Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte in all of us. When Im feeling self-indulgent... or just up for a laugh - this does the trick everytime!!!
Rating: Summary: How it all got started Review: What else can you say. This is how we all got hooked. This is the one to start with!
Rating: Summary: The start of something Review: SEX AND THE CITY is a show that took the world by storm. In Season One, the show really finds it's voice. The show gets better with time, not to say it was bad starting out (not at all) but you can see it go through transitions. Such as Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) talking into the screen about her thoughts and reflections, this is a bit awkward and later they would change this to her narrating the episodes with her reflections. Basically, you get to know the girls through these first 12 episodes. Carrie, the Sex and the City columnist who is very analytical and thoughtful. Samantha (Kim Catrall), the sex crazed independant woman. Miranda (Cynthia Nixon), the cynical lawyer. And Charlotte (Kristin Davis) the hopeful romantic. Also includes Willie Garson as Stanford, Carrie's best friend who is gay, and Chris Noth as Mr. Big.
