Rating: Summary: IT'S BEST TO START AT THE BEGINING Review: THIS IS WHERE IT ALL STARTED. I LOVE HOW THE WRITERS MAKE YOU FALL IN LOVE WITH ALL THE CHARACTERS RIGHT OFF THE BAT. THEY REALLY PUT A LOT OF THOUGHT INTO EACH PERSONALITY. ALTHOUGH IT ISNT MY FAVORITE SEASON (I'D HAVE TO GO WITH SEASON 7 OR 8) I STILL LOVE ALL THE EPISODES!
Rating: Summary: One of the Best Review: This is without a doubt one of the best shows on television and now that its come and gone this dvd set is a great way to relive the show again and again. I absolutely LOVED this first season, although the best ones are yet to come.
Rating: Summary: Best Show in TV History. Review: This might be the best show that has ever been on the air. Sorry Full House fans. I have grown up with this group of "Friends" and let me tell you, they are like my real friends. I even named my son "Ross" because David Swimmer is the funniest man on television, he should get an Oscar for this show. I'm not sure if he has yet. But if he hasn't then sign him up for one. If Eminem can win Oscars every year at the Video Music awards then David Swimmer should be up for one too. This show has set the bar for all other funny shows on the air right now, like Survivor and Real World and Survivor Africa and Celebrity Mole and Survivor Australia. They all copied the formula that Friends perfected...
Rating: Summary: The show my friends and I grew up on... Review: This set is full of classics that will stick with me for a lifetime. I'm particularly drawn in by Ross' unrequited love for Rachel. Each episode is orignal, and the storylines touching. It's something that all people can relate to in one way or another, and it's influence on pop-culture (and yours truly) will be felt for years to come.
Rating: Summary: Getting There Review: This was a great season for Friends, but far from its best. Friends is one of the few show that has gotten better over the years. How many shows actually are honored (and even nominated) with the Best Comedy Emmy Award in their Eight Season (which is their strongest by the way). But still the show could not have reached that pinnacle without some great grounding. So to see how and why the whole Friends phenomenon started this set is worth cheking out. Highlights from this season includes TOW the Blackout, TOW All the Poker, TOW the Underdog Gets Away and TOW the Two Parts (among others).
