Summary: American Pie 2
Review: So rarely does a sequel equal or in this case surpass the original. American Pie 2 is side-splittingly funny from the opening scene to the end. Stifler has been given some awesomly funny one-liners, the plot is both believable and well written and it's one of those movies you'll have to watch at least twice in order that you appreciate the funny bits you missed the first time round whilst rolling on the floor laughing. Buy it. For the love of God get your credit card out and buy it. I can guarantee that if you loved the first movie you'll want to marry this one!

Summary: Better than the first one!!
Review: And I am serious, it IS better than the first movie. American Pie 2 is great, funny and sweet. A little bit grotesque, yes, but sweet. See it now!

Summary: A Welcome Return to a Great Film
Review: What makes this movie not just another sorry sequel that fails to one-up the original is that the filmmakers never forgot the emotional development that the first one presented. Sure, there's more potty humor than you can shake a stick at, certainly enough to make you wet yourself even after you've left the theatre, but there are also the morals that created a film from something other than just a silly, teen sex comedy. What makes the sequel compliment the original even better is the fact that they maintained this emotional development without sacrificing everything that was accomplished in the original. AP2 doesn't rewrite the original, it takes it a step further and shows a further transformation into adulthood.

But...with that said, the film is a riot. All of your favorite actors are back again, and in equally amusing situations that may--or may not, God willing--ever happen to the average teen. Almost everyone's performance is on par--especially Seann William Scott who (though he'll no doubt be eternally type cast) needs only profanity to make an audience scream with laughter, since he possesses such an abundance of attitude.

The stories themselves are always entertaining, highlighting the next step in the lives of our favorite heroes. Alas, the girls of the original seem to be slowly weaning themselves from the series, but one almost doesn't miss them at all. The beginning of the film does appear rather hokey as it reintroduces the characters and situations from the first film. One who had never witnessed the original would get almost too vivid a picture of what happened in that film simply by witnessing the sequel, but after a slow start the film gets moving and with good results.

So, whether this film truly does excel beyond the original, I cannot attest to, but I will readily admit that this is an admirable addition to the first since it compliments AP1 without negating everything that was accomplished in the original. It is equally as humorous, equally as emotional, and equally as entertaining. When the producers set out to make this sequel, they obviously wanted to do it right; and it shows. This is a film that cannot be criticized as ruining the effect of the original, since it does so much to establish and enforce what the first one accomplished.

Summary: "American Pie 2" a great second helping
Review: The gang reunites back home after their first year away at college, and along with that brings a few issues: Jim (Jason Biggs) discovers that losing his virginity has brought with it a few more problems, Kevin (Thomas Ian Nicholas) and Vicki (Tara Reid) don't know where they stand after a year apart, Finch (Eddie Kaye Thomas) is practicing tantric sex in anticipation of seeing Stifler's mom again, Oz (Chris Klein) must deal with not seeing Heather (Mena Suvari) for the most of the summer, and the police but the brakes on Stifler's parties (Seann William Scott). Solution? Rent a beach house on Lake Michigan, and plan the party of the summer. Great sequel has laughs and gross-out gags galore, and Jim's dad (Eugene Levy) is still around to offer the right advice at all the wrong times. No pastry this time around, just superglue; and loudmouth Stifler again gets his just desserts.

Summary: Mind Blowing Comedy
Review: IT is a fun filled comedy that will keep you laughing with new suprisies! I cried my way through it becuase it was so funny and as long as you are above the age of 15 then you will too.

Summary: Absolutely hilarious!
Review: The freshman year of college is over as the gang (Kev, Jim, Oz and Finch) reunite for 'The Best Summer Ever'. With the hilarious Stifler tagging along, this sequel of one of the best-loved films of 1999, explores different jokes and brings in old ones. We also see the rest of the cast from the first helping including Vicky, Michelle, Nadia, Stifler's brother and 'The Sherminator.

As the gang discover lesbians, Jim discovers superglue and the audience discover the infamous 'Band Camp', there are more than enough one-liners and mishaps to leave you choking on your popcorn for the whole two hours.

The stars of the film are undoubtedly Stifler, whose attitude towards the rest of the characters is amazingly funny; and Jim whose mishaps make the film into a blockbuster. Michelle is also one of the stars as her 'breakup' with Jim is great acting and as funny as the rest of the film. Other stars include Finch, Stifler's mom and brother, Nadia and 'The Sherminator'.

Oz and Heather relationship and 'phone sex' are a wet rag on the film and one of the lowlights, apart from the outcome of their first escapade.

On the whole, one of the films of the year, and one which may finally get the director's (J.B Rogers ('Say it ain't so')) career start. For the cast, it shows their great acting off to a tee.

Summary: Even funnier than the first one
Review: AP2 was a hilarious movie. I laughed the entire way through starting from the first scene. Jim's dad is probably the funniest character because every scene he is in is hilarious. All of the other characters also did a great job. The plot in this movie wasn't quite as good as the first one, but it is still funny. From the superglue to the sex toys every scene is hysterical. Stifler had a much bigger role in this movie and he did a great job, stealing the show every scene he is in. If you liked the first one, you will definitely love this one. It's a must see.

Summary: Hilarious!!!
Review: If you were a fan of American Pie, this is a "must see"! The story picks up a year later, after the gang's first year of college, but the gross-outs and the laughs pick up right where they left off. I suggest seeing American Pie before viewing American Pie 2. If you don't, you'll still enjoy lots of laughs, but the first film goes a long way toward setting up the story lines for the sequel. Everyone's back... even Stiffler's Mom... and pretty much everyone gets what they're looking for! I had to see it twice in the theatre. My sides hurt for hours! Were we ever really that awkward?!?! Watch it and have fun.

Summary: Funnier than the first American Pie!
Review: I enjoy the movie but I don't know the cast expect Eugene Levy from SCTV. He was good in the first one playing the father to Jim. Also some part in this sequel was even more hilarious. I laughed my head off were everything is about sex and the guys are in college. They go on vacation and spend the summer togethe just like old times!
