Rating: Summary: FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN Review: This movie is one of the funniest comedies of all time. I think tht anyone who has a mind for comedy would really like this movie. although thay added four scenes on to this movie i dont see it that much different that the normal one. they had to cut 4 scenes in the rated version to get an "R" rating. since this one is not rated they added those scenes on and they make it a little more fun. i love the outakes and the dvd-rom behind the scenes. so, if you like comedy this one belongs in your dvd rack.
Rating: Summary: If anything under rated! Review: Wow! is all you need to say when describing this movie, it is SO FUNNY. Although i think it will only appeal to those of a certain age group (teens, twenties) it is definatley a must see for those. I have seen it loads of times and its just as funny each time. Out of the rated version and this one, the extra bits in this will get you in histerics, you have just got to see it.
Rating: Summary: Absolutely Terrible Review: The basic plot of this movie is pretty disgusting. These guys all make a bet with eachother that they'll loose their virginity by prom night. OK. First of all, this makes the guys look stupid and kinky, and the girls even dumber. This is supposed to be a teen flick, but let me tell you, teens don't find this funny. Between the two scenes of masturbation, and the absolutely pitiful ways the guys try to seduce the girls, anyone would want to throw up. Don't rent this movie. It's terrible.
Rating: Summary: 2 or 3 stars? Decisions, decisions.... Review: This movie was Ok, and it had some really funny scenes, but I can't help but feel that it's been highly over-rated. In my opinion, the movie just had too much lag. It really seemed long and drawn out, and had a relatively weak ending. I have noticed that (for whatever reasons) alot of people are comparing this movie with "There's Something About Mary." Well, for those of you who have seen "Mary," and have not seen American Pie, I can tell you that there's no comparison, "Mary" is far, far superior. Still, I would say American Pie is at least worth renting once. It DOES have some totally hilarious moments, just lots of "filler" in between.
Rating: Summary: Honest. Review: This movie wins laughs from its honesty. This, more than any other highschool movie, focuses on probably the most significant subject of adolescent life: sex. Lots of laughs and memories are ensured, buy it.
Rating: Summary: Laugh out loud Review: You'll laugh so hard, you'll download in your pants.
Rating: Summary: Hilarious Review: This movie is one of the funniest teen movies ever,a must see
Rating: Summary: funny movie, good extras Review: i thought this version did'nt differ much from the r rated version, but the extras boosted this rating from 3 stars to 4. i did like the extras and the audio commentry, the outakes and the hidden music video (see if you can find it) the movie itself is a good coming of age movie, but some people might find it a little offensive.
Rating: Summary: immature antics Review: For some reason, this movie didn't make me laugh out loud. It didn't even make me crack a smile. What's so funny about seeing a person screw a pie? I didn't understand why every teenager in the entire world calls this "one of the best movies ever". I personally thought it was non-stop immaturity and gave out bad messages to teens (i.e. sex has no reprocussions). If you're looking to be grossed out by a bunch of raunchy oversexed people, go for it, but if you want to remain mature and take your comedy on a different level, avoid this movie.
Rating: Summary: The film didn't earn the 5 stars... Review: Let me say that I thought the movie was pretty good, but the real reason EVERYBODY should check out this DVD is the feature-length commentary with director Paul Weitz, producer Chris Weitz, writer Adam Herz, and cast members Eddie Kaye Thomas, Jason Biggs, and Seann William Scott. I got this DVD a long time ago, and just recently watched the movie with the commentary. I think I laughed just as hard with the commentary as I did the first time I saw it. It really is worth checking out.
