Summary: Just a good movie!
Review: It's certanly a good movie, specially for teenagers. Greating acting from Judd Nelson, who plays the rebel one. Ok it's a good flick, but didn't deserves the all the sucess it had in the 80s. There are many others teenage movies from the 80s wich deserves the sucess that "'Breakfast Club'' had. One for sure is ''The Lost Boys'', the best 80s movie ever!

Summary: Every Parent Should See This Movie
Review: I saw this movie when it first came out in 1986, and I've seen it several times since. I now serve as a youth minister, and I think this movie is a vividly accurate portrayal of the fears and struggles that most teens face in this "Post-Modern" world...finding your own identity, peer pressure, relating to parents and other authority figures, etc... Some scenes are light-hearted and comical, others are deep and serious, showing the somewhat contradictory lives that teens live today. This is all the basis for the plot, in which five very different high schoolers come together for a Saturday detention, interact with one another, and eventually come to appreciate each person's unique individuality. This is 80's pop culture at its best! A must-see!

Summary: BEST MOVIE OF THE 80'S!
Review: "The Breakfast Club" is undoubtedly the best high school flick of all-time. It's a cult classic that makes all these 90's high school flicks look stupid and over done. I have a brother who's 11 years older than me and he would watch it all the time when it first came out and I remember sitting there with him at 4 and 5 years old watching it. (The cut version, of course.) Basically, I've grown up watching this film and enjoying it everytime I see it. High schoolers love it. A must-see!

Summary: FANTASTICALLY ACTED DRAMA, BUT CAN BE A BIT SLOW
Review: The breakfast club is without a doubt the BEST teen high school movie of all time. Not only because of its deeply emotional characters, but because of the reality of it. It gets away from the stereotypical character outlooks seen in almost ALL teen movies, like japs, jocks, blondes, and geeks. It makes you see what we're all about, and that we're not just a bunch of troublemaking, self-concieved know-it-alls. I LOVED it, and it should definity be bought!!!

Summary: Move over Seinfeld, this movie did it first
Review: By the subject, I mean a film which brought to life what most people think, but many never admit to. The clash between cliques and cultures is adeptly portrayed in this film. The genius of the film is truly witnessed in the scene when they bring to face the group dynamics, with the revelation that they must start on Monday with their masks on again. The teacher (or principal? It's really not specified), is an added bonus, because his insecurities and issues are brought front. This movie had no amazing special effects, probably saved thousands on setting and casting costs, and is usually one of the first movies brought to mind when recalling 80's movie pop culture. I heard a rumor that there was going to be a sequel, demonstrating how these kids are doing in present day. I am dubious, but would attend in a heartbeat.

Summary: without a doubt, the greatest movie ever
Review: The Breakfast Club has and always will be my favorite movie ever. The one word to sum it all up is real. It is exaclty how high school is. The acting is the best of the best. Judd Nelson and Ally Sheedy were great, well everyone was great, but they were the best. I am a major movie buff and The Breakfast Club is THE greatest movie ever. I reccomend to anyone who wants to see a superb movie and if you don't like, then get a life!!!

Summary: classic high school character study ....great film.
Review: though a bit dated. the stars (the brat pack) are great in their diffrent stereotypes. as they spend a saturday in detention for various reasons they dissect each other and we get a peak at the youth of the eighties and the spirit of innocence fading. judd nelson especially good.

Summary: another bit of trivia
Review: Did you know that Anthony Michael Hall's mother and sister played his character's mother and sister in the movie?

Summary: A superb film, reflecting the teenage angst of the era!
Review: The dialogue in this film can only be described as magic. The interaction between the individuals is very clever and you have empathy with all the characters. Judd Nelson is excellent and plays the part of the rebel brilliantly. His sharp, one liners leave you speechless. This is one of my favourite films of all time and I can watch it again and again. The music, of course, is just perfect!
