Rating: Summary: Awesome Olsens Review: I have been a fan of Mary-kate and Ashley's since they were on Full House. I think these girls are great actresses and have a natural chemistry on screen. Their movies (and tv shows) appeal to a wide age group, even though some of the older fans are reluctant to admit they watch them. (Just to let you know, I'm 17). This movie looks like it's going to be cute, and just as fun to watch as the others. Who says that all cute movies can only be about sex and drugs? More power to you girls!
Rating: Summary: Fun and Entertaining Review: Alright, first of all I have to say that I love Mary-Kate and Ashley. They have this awesome personality that makes them pretty hard to hate. Their movies are pretty, well let's just say unrealistic, but they are fun entertainment and little kids love it. Of course, most retired 80-year olds couldn't have afforded tickets to the Winter Olympics or the designer ski clothes the girls wore (Chanel ski goggles for instance), but this movie was nothing but good, clean fun. The cute boys, cute clothes and ever-witty comments made by the cast made for an adorable and thoroughly enjoyable movie. After seeing this movie I will continue to watch Mary-Kate and Ashley and wish them all the success in the world. Although I'm sure they really don't need it since everything they have done since they were two has been successful. They are most likely set for life, but I'm sure they will continue to entertain us for many years and I am ready to be entertained with more fun, clean movies like this one.
Rating: Summary: Give me a break... Review: I've seen most of the Mary-Kate and Ashley movies because they are usually quite amusing. I can't believe how unrealistic their movies are. They are always little rich girls with perfect clothes who go on very expensive vacations and meet two hot guys. Life just doesn't happen like that. Everyone thinks that these two girls are "such wonderful role models" just because they don't do drugs and have sex. Ok, so they are goodie-goodies... big deal. They are teaching little girls that you should always look like you just walked out of Express. I think it is pathetic... there is much more to life then beach vacations and cute boys. (oh and I forgot shopping) I really wish they would actually make a quality movie with a decent plot for once. This new movie of theres is no exception. I mean, come on... who actually gets a brand new ford mustang convertible they day that they turn 16? And worse... they go on a road trip immediately after they get your license? Right. No parents would let loose two very unexperienced drivers on a road trip with friend and guys. (without wearing their seatbuckles!!!) Like my review title says... give me a break.
Rating: Summary: Wierd...REALLY wierd... Review: This was funny... yes. It's just that I wish these girls would occasionally play parts where their parents weren't bazillionaires with several houses. This is the real world...do people really buy their kids cars? Seems a mite unrealistic to me.The only reason worth watching this movie is when they meet Charlie, the orange-grove heiress who mentions in passing that she's homeschooled. One of the girls (forget which, but it didn't look like she was acting) said stuff like "I'll send you clothes, I'll write, I'll send money, is there anything you need?" only to go to Charlie's house and see that C was even better off than her... unfortunately this was a telling line, a very common pre-conceived notion about homeschoolers is that they don't have the basic things they need and live in shacks. That bit alone was worth watching the movie for. Otherwise the actors bordered on superstupid. The movie was full of kids messing up in one way or another, and they were stupid mistakes. If you're looking for a G-rated movie with some appeal for 12+, then fine, have at it. If you want to watch a movie about responsible, REALISTIC teenagers, keep looking and tell me when you find it. I'd like to watch it. Drivers like the actors/actresses portrayed in this movie, are what makes people have bad tastes in their mouth when one says "teen driver." :-)
Rating: Summary: Watch it just because it's so horrible Review: Normally I don't waste time on movies that I have read or heard so many bad things about, but with Getting There there were just so many 1 ratings on NetFlix I had to see just how bad it was. Three words, they were right.
Rating: Summary: Sweet 16 and Licensed to Drive Review: Buckle up for the ultimate getaway with Mary-Kate and Ashley! Taylor and Kylie Hunter are sweet sixteen and licensed to drive. Grab a seat in their classic Mustang convertible as they set out on their very first road trip, to the Winter Games in Utah. Cute outfits, even cuter guys. And all kinds of friends along the way. But watch out for Olympic-size detours. This movie is really cute and gives us a glimpse into what Mary-Kate and Ashley can really do! I think this is one of their best movies yet! ***Check it out!!***
Rating: Summary: AwEsOmE MoViE!!!! Review: I love this movie! It is soooo funny!! Some of the guys are really hott in it also, and the Olsen twins are so pretty. They are really great actresses, and even though the one friend acts a little too ditzy, it's still a really great movie. There friend Toast is hilarious! And really hott too!! I was at Blockbuster getting a movie with my friend, and we saw it so we decided to get it for fun. When we watched it we loved it! I really recommend it because it is a really cute and funny movie!!

Rating: Summary: Mildly entertaining but very irresponsible Review: This movie, which is about travel, shows just about every irresponsible thing a young person can do. First, the girls get into a car and none of them ever wear seatbelts. Especially with being in a convertible, they would be dead in any collision under those circumstances. Later in the movie, one of the girls accepts a ride with a stranger -- another extremely dangerous decision. I understand that when people watch movies they like to be taken away into a fantasy. But it would not have altered the story to have the girls put on seat belts, or to have a former neighbor show up coincidentally to give the girls a ride. I also do not agree with the decision throughout the movie to refrain from calling the parents in times of trouble. Sixteen and seventeen year old kids are not equipped to handle these kinds of problems, and it is irresponsible to portray that as a goal, especially considering the audience that Mary Kate and Ashley typically attract. I have purchased just about every movie that Mary Kate and Ashley have made, and my whole family normally enjoyes them. I have never been as disappointed as I was when I saw this one -- unlike the others, this one will not remain in my family's movie library.
Rating: Summary: Awesome movie Review: I am a big Mary- Kate and Ashley fan. I love every movie they did. I think I like them the most is because I have been everywhere they have gone so it brings back good times for me. When this movie came out I wasn't really into getting it. I have been where they were but from what I saw on TV it didn't look as good as there over seas ones. Back in March for my 19th birthday my mom bought it for me for me. I didn't want to be mean to my mom so I watched it. I loved this movie. Being someone who travles a lot I can so see this happing. Some of you say that parents would be mad about losing the car and all. I don't know about your parents but my mom would be thankful that I was ok. This is a great and funny movie. Just because it doesn't seem real doesn't mean it can't happen. Thank God it has never happened to me. If you are looking for some laughs and some adventure get your hands on this movie and hold on!
