Summary: I Really Tried To Like This Movie.....
Review: I really, really wanted to like this movie because I'm a fan of a lot of people in the movie: Mena Suvauri(American Pie, Loser), James Madeson(Disturbing Behavior, X-Men) and, Marla Sokoloff(ABC's The Practice, Whatever It Takes). When I sat in the theatre on the opening night I saw that it was half empty but that didn't bother me. I understand why this movie didn't work: It was suppose to be a really dark comedy, it was originally rated R but they changed the script so it would be rated PG-13 but everyone knows that most R rated movies that are aimed at teens(American Pie is an exception) usually flop. When I walked out of the theatre all I could say was,"I chose to see this instead of "The Wedding Planner"? Oh why?!" So unless you are just totally obsessed with really, really stupid teen movies then skip this one. PLEASE skip it! All the jokes were suppose to be funny (duh!) but they were all just really stupid. The only person I thought that did an even not horribly bad job was Mena Suvauri but don't see this because of her. If you want to see good Mena movies then I suggest "American Beauty", "American Pie", and maybe even "Loser"

Summary: Won't set the world on fire, but very funny
Review: This is not a film I would normally single out for review, but I've found some of the other reviews on this site to be a bit harsh. This is basically a very broad, bordering on cartoonish, little comedy about cheerleaders robbing a bank. As you can imagine, it's not Merchant-Ivory territory. But it is quite cute, very amusing all the way through, and very funny in several sections. I, at the very least, had a big grin pasted across my face for the entire running time even if I wasn't doubled over in laughter. It's a good deal smarter and edgier than most teen comedy fare, being head and shoulders above "American Pie" and "Scary Movie," which stunk. Everyone is a caricature and does a good job. Some jokes don't pay off, but you can't win 'em all - the ratio of what works to what doesn't is high. So, give this small movie a break... it was by no means terrible, or even mediocre. It was good to very good. I liked it. To put my comedic tastes in perspective: the best comedy in the last several years has been "Mr. Show with Bob & David," "Kids in the Hall" and their feature "Brain Candy," "Fear of a Black Hat," "Sweet & Lowdown," Kevin Smith films and you gotta love Monty Python, SCTV Network, & classic Richard Pryor & all George Carlin. If you're tastes are like mine, think lowbrow and enjoy this flick.

Summary: this is bad....
Review: really bad. I just don't know what you reviewers were laughing about! Okay, I did laugh at their attempt to satirize "Reservoir Dogs" with their "walk into the Robbery". The rest of this movie is a total waste of time!!! The only reason I watched it(well, I rented it thinking it looked funny and something different for a teen movie) was that there was absolutely nothing on the 126 channels I have on Direct TV. And who wrote this piece of garbage? Do teenage girls out there today actually talk like these airheads? And considering the influence that film has on today's youth, what kind of message is this movie sending? so, if you get knocked up and you are broke, rob a bank! you are sure to get away with it if you can find someone like Marla Sokoloff's character. Someone as unscruplous as yourself. I will say that the soundtrack was decent. I am also getting tired of cheerleader movies. Hollywood! Get some new ideas for teen movies! Also, to you reviewers that are comparing this ridiculous excuse of a movie to HEATHERS, get a job!(as veronica said). That movie had great originality to it. It had a great screenplay with very funny dialogue. Whereas S&S had such bad writing. Also, Heathers had Winona Ryder, who is a great actress. The girls in S&S were all just a bunch of Betty dolls. Also, this is not a black comedy at all, at least not in my book. This is a few genres of films all thrown together(teen comedy, and bank heist film) and what's up with Jack & diane's parents? I guess this movie is trying to satirize many genres, but it is all just a big mess that has hardly any laughs.

Summary: Pure Horror
Review: This has to be one of the worst movies I have ever experienced in my life. I mean it is terrible, even worse than "Charlies Angels." I really don't know why I even wasted an hour and a half of my life on this work of trash. Why oh why does hollywood keep doing this to us. There isn't anybody in their right mind that should enjoy this movie. In the bottom 50 of all time.

Summary: Bizarre, all right movie that's good for a few laughs
Review: Sure, the satire falls a little flat, and most of the comedic timing is off, but there are still a couple of bits in it that are pretty funny. Would make a pretty good rental on a slow night.

Summary: Sexy cheerleaders start getting greedy.
Review: This movie rocks. I just loved it soooooo much. Marly Shelton is SO HOT!!!!!!!! It was about these sexy cheerleaders dress up as a popular doll to rob a bank! And Thank Jesus Christ they didn't go to jail. But it's just a hallouriously funny comedy. 2 THUMBS UP!

Summary: A BLACK COMEDY WITHOUT PRETENTIONS
Review: A title like SUGAR & SPICE may be off-turning, but the movie is so well directed and acted, that any apparently sophomoric joke is forgivable. Francine McDougall has directed this movie with a great deal of style and intelligence. The only thing I found offensive were some of the religious jokes that are blatantly blasphemous (and unnecessary); but this is dark movie and a COMEDY that turns the stereotypes upside down. It's the good girls doing the bad things. If this movie offends anybody, or they don't get it, or think it's stupid, they should try seeing it from a more adult perspective, and perhaps then they might enjoy it more. This film mixes "teen" comedy with "adult" comedy, which is not easy to get away with. I think it's a unique, underrated little classic. I only wish the title were different. The film is too intelligent in execution to be reduced to such a corny title, but that's Hollywood.

Summary: Please, I have better things to do with my time!
Review: This movie was both long and dumb. It had no point! Which is just why you make a movie, to get a point across. Forget about figurative meanings here, my gosh forget about literal or any meanings at all! I caught myself laughing only at one point in the whole movie, it's not worth it, don't waste your money on this, keep on going, look else where.
