Review: Although Melissa Joan Hart and Mary Susan Pratt do great acting jobs, this film does not yet reach it's fulkl standard. It is quite boring really and hardly has a story.So you reckon Drive Me Crazy is cute, funny, romantic and sexy? Sure it is! But that doesn't make it any good.

Summary: Now SHE's all that...
Review: I have to say that I prefer this movie over many of the other teen movies--simply because of the character that Melissa Joan Hart played. I really liked the strong role model... Unlike another recent movie--She's All That, this character wasn't whiny, sad nor pathetic. She stood up for herself, she went after what she wanted, no excuses no apologizes.

Summary: Likeable but predictable teen comedy
Review: This romantic comedy is a likeable, though predictable teen flick. Actually, as high school fare goes, this is pretty wholesome. Of the three major teen staples, there is very little in the way of sex and drugs, but plenty of rock and roll. The story revolves around a girl and boy who are next door neighbors. Though they have known each other their whole lives, they travel in very different circles at school. She is very "in", popular and active. He is very "out", rebellious and counterculture. When each of them gets rejected by their love interests, they form an unlikely alliance to make the rejecters jealous. They pretend they are now dating, to the amazement of all their friends. But be careful what you wish for, because you might get it. Surprising to no-one in the audience, they actually fall for one another. This complicates matters when the scam works and their respective love interests re-ignite and take up hot pursuit. Not the most original story line, but it sets up some funny skits especially with the characters' attempts to adapt to the formerly rejected culture of the other. The writing has some good lines and the romance between Nicole (Melissa Joan Hart) and Chase (Adrian Grenier) works well. These two have good chemistry and seem to genuinely like each other. The ending is upbeat, and overall this is a feel good movie. The acting, as is always the case in these movies, was not so much acting as teens portraying themselves. Melissa Joan Hart has been playing a teenager since 1992, and at 24 it is probably time to move on. As probably the most experienced actor in the film, she played the part very well and was one of the few players who actually had to do some acting outside the stereotype. Adrian Grenier, (also 24), held down the male lead well, although he was much more convincing once he was "in" than as a rebellious outsider. All in all, it was a sprightly and entertaining entry into a crowded genre. I gave it a 7/10. Worth a look if you are in the mood for something light.

Summary: Ever since Clarissa....
Review: ...Explained it all, I have been hooked to Melissa Joan Hart. I think she is talented and deserves what credit is due to her. I really hope to see her in much more. This movie was cute, cliche in some places. Well, it was basically, She's all That, Can't buy Me Love, Whatever it Takes..all any and very Teen movie that is coming out or is out. but that is ok. It is intersting to see how many times Hollywood can tell the same story. Really good movie. And Sabrina swears? Hee Hee, I wanted her to say the "F" word!

Summary: Almost like all teen movies.....but not really!
Review: I just watched this movie, and must say it was very good. I think I was expecting a little more from it, but it delivered enough to make me want to buy it. Atleast, when the price goes down! I have been a fan of Melissa Joan Hart since her Clarissa Explains It All days, and I am glad to see she is still hanging in there. The movie was poignant, and kept me intrigued. Though it was supposed to be about high school, I feel the actors related more to people their own age (21+). I Love Sabrina the Teen Age Witch, hell, my daughters name is Sabrina (not because of the show). I will continue to be a fan of Melissa Joan Hart!

Review: I thought the movie was really cool, but it's a teen movie. When I saw it in theatres, I saw so many little kids and they all said they didn't like it much. After doing Sabrina, Hart gave a clear young appearance. It was very misleading. It would have been nice if on the previews they would have said, 'It's not another Sabrina episode all right?' Still, me and my friends did enjoy it and thought it was very clever. Good work to the cast.

Summary: A copycat?
Review: Sure this movie is cute and heartwarming, but it reminds me of another movie I've seen before. The plot seems to copy that of the movie Can't Buy Me Love which stars Patrick Dempsey. The popular girl gets into a bind and the guy (who happens to be an outsider) comes to the rescue. The result, two very opposite people falling for each other when that was not what they wanted.

Summary: Not deep, but lots of fun
Review: This was a very cute, watchable movie. It's not deep, but what good teen date movie is? Although there are a couple messages in the movie that aren't entirely successful, Melissa Joan Harte is so full of personality and her costar Grenier is *such* a doll, that I personally don't care. It will go into my collection of great Saturday afternoon flicks, like "Sixteen Candles," "Breakfast Club," and "Can't Hardly Wait."

Review: A 'very cute' story indeed. 'Drive Me Crazy' follows the story of Nicole (Melissa Joan Hart) who has just been dissed and dismissed by the high-school babe. So now she plans to win back her prom man by taking ugly loser Chase (Adrian Greiner) to centennial. Only to find out that she starts falling in love with them and bla, bla you know the rest. HO-HUM. Nothing big. Nothing great. Nothing exciting but something compared to 'Hanging Up' and some other movies.
