Review: Wow,
I hadn't seen this movie since it came out last August 2001.! Nearly a WHOLE YEAR AGO!!! But my memory was refreshed when I watched it once again last night on "Starz". And all I have to say is "WOW! This movie rocks!!!" Still holds up after the 2nd watch. Now I guess not everyone will like it, but ANYONE looking for a break from oversexed teen movies, but a movie that is STILL JUST AS FUNNY(But in different ways), then THIS movie is for you! Anne Hathaway IS *PERFECT* as the Lead Mia Thermopolis&Julie Andrews, well she's *GREAT*!!! Its a such a *cute* movie, a very nice fairy tale. I've read ALL THREE of the Princess Diary books, and i must say this movie holds its own. In fact it could nearly NOT even be based on the book, it is VERY loosely based. However that DID NOT make it BAD AT ALL.! In fact I don't think they could have made it better. Its very light-hearted and watered down from the book. But to its advantage. Some people may not like that, but I loved it. And this movie has some great mesages in it. Like beauties only skin deep&sometimes you got to remember other people BESIDES yourself, and put them BEFORE you...But WITHOUT shoving it in your face. In fact you can dig up stuff from this movie you didn't know was there from the first viewing. I know I DID.! And that my friends IS what makes a GREAT movie! Not saying its great, but its good&VERY rewatchable. Unless....Of course you don't like these type of movies. But at least give it a chance.! You may just like it! God Bless ~Amy

Review: It is a really great movie! Disney did very well with this one. they casted very wisley and the characters were believable and the story was very good. I love the movie and it is one of my favorites. It is also very funny when she learns how to be a princess it is charming all the way through.

Summary: A Royal Masterpiece
Review: Though the books are completely different, I loved this movie. It was cute, funny, and perfect. The acting was excellent, and the story was unforgettable...a girl named Mia finds out that her father was the prince of a country she hasnt even heard of, and that she is heir to the throne. Mia likes to be invisible, a nobody, to everyone around her. She isnt popular, and suddenly has all this to deal with. It is a cute story about trust, friendship, loyalty, and hey...there is even a bit of romance in it! This is a great family movie, and though it probably is more of a girls movie, you guys out there might like it too! Everyone will love this movie, it is a grand film, and a royal masterpiece.

Summary: A true delight
Review: This movie was a true treasure. this is about a girl Mia who finds out she is a princess later in her life. This is all about her trying to adjust to the princess life. This is based on the novel Princess Diaries by meg cabot. I have met Meg Cabot and she is soo nice and funny! In the movie I was pleased to see some of her humor in it. I think anyone would enjoy this because it is fun for the whole family. I hope they will make a second movie. If you like a funny/romance movie you would love this.

Summary: Corny, corny, CORNY!
Review: I'm a teenager, and a person my age is supposed to enjoy this film. Not me! I don't care if it IS my generation, I think this is a waste. Anne Hathaway is sort of a ditsy kind of girl. My mother encourages me to see this. I wish I hadn't. It's awful. I don't like anything to do with this picture except Julie Andrews, she's the only one who saves the picture. Sorry, teens, but I don't dig it. It's one of the worst pictures I've seen.

Summary: ... I'd buy it
Review: The movie was predicatable, but most movies these day's are. It's a good, funny movie and people in the family can watch. And even though it gets shallow at some points, isn't that the way some people are in real life, anyway? Most people complain about making over Anne Hathaway and how you should see the inner beauty.... but people in real life do look for looks (not saying I do). And at the end, Michael [Robert Schwartzman, who is an AWESOME actor and singer by the way] ends up 'seeing her when she was invisible'. So it shows the boy who isn't shallow and DOES see her inner beauty does end up getting the girl. The DVD is actually cool because it has commentaries, 'A New Princess' with all the actors and making all of the movie, and 8 deleted scenes. The casting was done pretty well, except - I don't really think Mandy Moore is that great of an actress, she kind of overacts on the screen - it's fake. Other than that... I think everyone that was picked was good...

Review: This is a good movie, but instead you should have rate it PG for Some Crude Humor and Some Thematic Elements. "The Princess Diaries" is about a girl named Amelia "Mia" Thermopolis, who lives in San Fransico and dosen't know his dad was a prince of Europe, until now. Well I have to say it can just be a normal, good, 4-STAR, B-,B, or B+ material motion picture. This movie also has a good cast: Julie Andrews, Anne Hathaway, Hector Elizondo, Heather Matarazzo, Mandy Moore, Caroline Goodall, Robert Schwartzman, and Erik von Detten. This is why I give this movie ****(4 out of 5).

Summary: Julie Andrews does it again!
Review: I loved this film.. it is a true Rags to Riches story about a young girl that finds out that she is really a princess. At first Mia does not believe that she is a princess.. she starts out by kind of going along with the crowd. Soon things start to turn around for the 'nerd' that would bring her unwanted press and a few hangers on for their 15 minutes of fame. Just when she is about to give up the throne, one of her friends convinces Mia that her new standing in life would help make a real difference in the lives of her people. I thought that this was so cool... Julie Andrews is still at the top of her game.. it is so nice to see her in another Disney project after all these years... I hope that you will take the time to watch the film. This is a Disney Film and it was made to be fun.... I loved it...

Summary: CUTE!
Review: Princess Diaries isn't used to what you're usually seeing. It
is a nice, funny, appropiote movie that Parents will love
and kids will adore. I always concider G and PG movies kid's
entertainment but this one touches you in some unexpected way.
It makes you feel good, it makes you laugh, it makes you want to
see it again. I know I wanted to. I reccomend it alot for those
young and old. Rent this movie

Review: Horribly pretentious film. Main character (Hathaway) is supposed to be sympathetic, but at the end of this film she becomes off-putting. Do not see this film unless you like terrible teen junk.
