Summary: One of my favorite movies
Review: I just love this movie. I don't buy DVD's for the extras. I was so happy I could get this movie on DVD. The movie is about three men who are friends. One is getting married, and he is having second thoughts. The movie takes you through a series of flash backs. I spend time laughing at how folks dressed and wore their hair. It makes you remember when you were in junior and high school. The movie is fun. It's a movie about choices, growing up, friendship and most of all love. Loving your family, friends and the one you want to spend the rest of yoru life with. It's a fun movie to watch.

Summary: Wonderful Story!
Review: I love this movie! The film tells the story of 3 guys growing up in Inglewood in the 80s. Totally sweet coming of age flick with humor, laughter and lotsa male bonding.
For the ladies- there is a scene with a hose in a backyard that is truly memorable!
The universal story of coming of age and friendship is well acted and original in its telling. Recommend highly!

Summary: Pretty Good Could Have Been a New Classic
Review: I Really thought this Film was Cool.but it went on too Long in spots.I feel the this film had more Plot&Interest than the Best Man.but the pacing of this film was too Slow at times.if Writting Better&Trimmed in Spots with Better Editing this would have Been a New Classic.cuz The Acting was Solid. The Actors&Actress Gave a Good Solid Performance.I Wish they had done More with the COP Scene.it was Left Empty.A Pretty Good Film though.

Summary: THE WOOD
Review: I WAS SURPRISED AT THIS LITTLE KNOWN MOVIE. IT BROUGHT ME BACK TO A TIME NOT SHOWN THROUGH A BLACK WORKING CLASS FAMILY IN THE 80'S THAT I FELT WAS TASTEFULLY REPRESENTED, ONLY REGRET THAT VIDEO IS NOT PRICED TO OWN ONE BIG MISTAKE...

Summary: Hello 80's
Review: If VH1 did a show about life in the typical middle class African American home in the 80's and its impact on music this movie would gain cult status. I love all of the actors in this one-especially Richard T Jones (Judging Amy & Soul Plane) this movie reminded me of my life growing up and I grew up in a big city! A must see for anyone who graduated in the late 80's!

Summary: WOW! That's Entertainment
Review: If you have a friend that is getting married soon or has just got married, than you have to see this film. It reflects on the inevitable changes you will go through in life. Watching the film is like listening to a good retro 80s mix. In that you get that reminisint feeling of days past.

Summary: One of the Best
Review: It is so refreshing to see a African American movies where the characters are not on drugs, poor, sad and angry. Showing that is important, but showing movies with this kind of background is needed also. The Wood does exactly this as it shows friends, who generally care for one another and their life through school and into adulthood. I commend this movie because it is correct. I had so many of these experiences. I love the bully scene and hitting the girl butt, and his uncertainity of getting married. These issues are life and it was shown in a wonderful lgiht and setting. This is a must own.

Summary: Likeable, but bland.
Review: Likeable but somewhat dull coming-of-age tale concerning 3 buddies who grow up in Southern California. Taye Diggs and Omar Epps star, but the real winners are the actors who play the younger version of their characters. LisaRaye also makes a nice appearance as the fiancee. Unfortunately, this gets a 3-star rating mainly because there are virtually no extras on this package. All we get is a trailer. No documentary. No interview. If you're looking to pass 2 hours of your time on a Sunday afternoon, you could do worse than this.
