Summary: Seen the Trailer? Save Your Money
Review: How could a movie with a trailer so funny turn out to be so bad? My girlfriend and I were looking forward to this film based on the hilarious trailer, so we got to the theatre early. The noon Saturday show filled up with people who, like us, thought the trailer was hysterical. Two hours later, me, my girlfriend and everyone else in the theatre lumbered out into the lobby, disappointed and more than a little irritated; how could it have gone so wrong?

For starters, the pacing was so inept that even the stuff that was funny in the trailer fell flat on screen. The characters, save Jason Biggs and Eugene Levy's, were either half-baked or downright annoying. Was this some Hollywood hack's condescending idea of what the public would find amusing? Think again, boys; no one, and I mean NO ONE, in this theatre even snickered once during the entire two hours. Hands down, the worst sequel in film history. This is a very, very dead horse.

Summary: Can't get any better than this guys....
Review: When I bought the ticket I had a little doubt in my mind. I had this old fashioned idea that a sequel is always crappy and is worth nothing compared to the original. But then I suddenly remembered that it was really NOT the case for the movie Terminator (the II is definitely better, more refined than the I) which led me to the conclusion that I should not start with wrong presumptions regarding American Pie II. "After all", I thought when I comfortably sat on my chair with a bag of popcorn and a soda, "it might even be better than the first one." And to my deepest bedazzlement, I was right...

It would be out of the question for me to start describing the plot in this review so I will make it quite short. The best thing about II is that the makers of this movie took into consideration that everybody who get in the theaters and watch this movie already HAVE seen the original one. Therefore there is absolutely no need to reintroduce all the characters because they are all very well known to us. As an example...During the representation, the room was, of course, very full. And as soon as we saw Eugene Levy's face, everyone started to laugh out loud. This film simply creates an atmosphere, mostly by the very outstanding cast and the wonderful play of the actors.

I whole-heartedly agree on the fact that there might not be enough steam to provoke a third American Pie, and that the second ending is emptier than the first. But I see no need in making a third movie. I think they already exploited the matter to its maximum.

Awkwardly they felt the need to make the sequel more sexual than the original. And must I say, it was not a bad decision. Okay the laughs are cheap. Okay its not deep and philosophical. But who cares? Certainly not the characters in the movie... This movie delivers laughs from the first minute until the last. No lengths, no disappointments. And that's what counts in my opinion.

With what they had they couldn't really do any much better than this. Pie II is in the top movies of the year.

Summary: An Amazing Sequel!
Review: American Pie is back! This hilarious film defies even the limits of an R rating with more libido, breasts and more;the only thing missing is the pie. But the film more than makes up for its absence, with more laughs, profanity and sex than the first. They are now more mature, after spending a year at college and decide to rent a beachhouse to have fun all day and party all night. Of course, incidents then ensue. Despite the lack of substantial plot and script (as to be expected), the film thrives on the characters and their relationships. All in all, an over-the-top, gross-out sequel and if you liked the first, you'll love the second.

Summary: One of best Sequels Ever!!!
Review: Unlike most sequels, this one won't let you down. It picks up where the last one left off and is just as good as "American Pie", if not better. Michelle's character (the Band Camp girl) has been given a bigger part this time, helping to really improve the formula. The gags are just as good as the first and when you leave the theater you hope for an American Pie 3 (keep your fingers crossed). Hot new comedy of the Summer!!! A must-own when it comes on to DVD (with the Director's Cut, of course)

Summary: AMERICAN PIE 2 ROCKS
Review: This is one of the best movies ever. From the beginning it has been non stop laughs. My god people were clapping through the entire movie thats how good it was. It was one of the most fun times I have had in a long time.

Summary: The second piece is just as good as the first.....
Review: this movie equals if not betters everything in the original. the movie continues the relationships of the first one, while pushing them to the new level. seeing Jim's character develop is wonderful. it was also nice to see that Stifler got more scenes in this one since he stole the show in the first one. if you haven't seen this movie yet stop what you are doing and go see it. hopefully,in a couple more years we will get a third helping of pie.

Summary: Same Cast, Same Laughs, Same Outrageous Situations!!!
Review: Though the movie starts a little slow, American Pie 2 is every bit as funny, demented, raunchy and hilarious as the first!!! The previews for the movie basically sum up a majority of the outrageous situations the crew gets themselves into.

The movie basically picks up a year later from the events of the first movie. The crew has just completed their first year of college and have returned home for summer. In search of the ultimate summer party (and ‘action’), the boys rent a beach house down on the coast and begin the search for you know what. All of our friends from part one are back a little older and (but not necessarily) wiser.

Jim: Still getting into unbelievable messes…

Oz: Still the same sweet chick magnet Heather fell for…

Stifler: Still the same cocky, oversexed party animal…

Finch: Eccentric still got a thing for his buddy’s momma…

Kevin: Stuck in the past…

Michelle: Off to band camp…

Vicky: Still hanging around…

Heather: Still pursuing her dreams…

Nadia: Still the hot foreign “chick”

Jim’s Dad: Still the coolest dad in the land…

Stifler’s Mom: Yeessshhh…

Highlights:

--Some HILARIOUS homophobic action with the world tuned in on CB

--As the preview says, Jim’s “Superglued himself to – himself!!!”

--Far off Heather and Oz whisper “sweet nothings” over the phone

--Great times at band camp!!

--Killer parties!!!

--Tons of half-naked women!!!

--And…the gang learns a lesson in love and life.

Things to Watch Out For: It involves [urine]…

Overall, if you enjoyed the first movie you’ll enjoy this one as well. While it gets off to a slow start, once it picks up the laughs and outrageous situations are just non-stop till the end. The two best scenes were probably the superglue and the “lesbian” act with the phone sex and the [urine] scene (albeit gross) close behind.

In sum, it’s still the same crew doing the same hilarious raunchfest that took the world by storm a few years ago. Heck, if even Roger Ebert loved this movie, you just KNOW it must be pretty good!!!

Highly Recommended

Summary: Bad
Review: This was a disgrace to the American people. The first one though was just as morally corrupted, but it at least was something new. This one is nothing but a mimic, peeing dowm the same stupid jokes once again. I wouldn't even call them jokes--all they did was screaming the F word and shakig butts. This is not entertainment!

Summary: Tastier Then The Original
Review: When I went to see this movie I thought there was no way it could top the 1999 hit "American Pie". I was so wrong! "American Pie 2" takes everything from the first film and takes it farther! The screenplay was very smart as many scenes reminded me of elements from the first film. This made it even funner to watch! It's cruder! It's funnier! It also has more heart. Don't worry, it's not a sappy teen romance. It's anything but! All the rules used in making teen flicks are broken in this film! It was as if you care about what happens to the characters. The music is awesome! There is no Pie in this film! However they make up for it with many new and disgusting gags! I'm not going to tell you about them because you'll have to see for yourself! You will not be dissapointed with this film! Oh and Stiffler is awesome in this movie! Everything he did made me laugh. The film is shocking from begining to end. There is also a very surprising ending! You have to see this film ! I would watch it again and again! This movie makes every other teen flick seem boring! Iam not joking. This is even better then the original "American Pie!"

Summary: Hilarious!
Review: I thought American Pie 2 was just as good if not better than the first one. If you are looking for a movie just for laughs and to have a good time without overanalyzing it (some crude humor but the first one was loaded with it, too), it's worth checking out! The theatre was packed and the crowd was howling with laughter...would definately see again.
