Rating: Summary: hilarious! Great for teens Review: I thought that Ferris Bueller's day off was one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. It has great actors and actreeses. It makes you think that you can still have fun and do fun things and in Ferrris' case , get away with it.
Rating: Summary: A comedy classic Review: It looks stupid but honestly this is one of the best movies I have ever seen in my life. Broderick is brilliant, Sara is...Well she was okay. But Ruck he was the greatest but I think one actress was better than him, JENNIFER GREY! She was amazing the jealously and paranoia were a great mix. The adult acting was a bit off beat but all together this is a comedy classic!
Rating: Summary: Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Yeah! Review: Who wouldn't want to do all the things Ferris did on his day off? I think we've all played sick at one time or another! I like the scene where Ferris is lip-synching to "Twist & Shout"! Cameron, Ferris's reluctant sidekick is also hilarious (with the impersonation of the very British Sgt. Peterson!). Even Ferris's sister Jeanne lightens up in the end! But Rooney never does! Oooooooooooooooooooh, yeah! They don't make them like this anymore!
Rating: Summary: Best Movie Ever!!! Review: How can i sum up my favorite movie ever in just 1,000 words? It is the funniest, most creative movie i have seen in a llllloooooonnnnnggggg time(besides star wars, of course)and i love ferris!!! Rooney eats it!!!
Rating: Summary: Hearkening back to the days that weren't... Review: I really love this movie... I think it captures the feel of 'senioritis' perfectly... and it will make you wish that you were that cool in high school. The characters are not quite typical- Ferris, the charismatic BMOC, Cameron, his extremely uptight best friend, and then there's the principle who's out to get them. OK, so maybe they are typical characters... but they're done in what I feel is not a typical way... and even the bit parts are well done and uproariously funny. It's not the movie for everyone, I'm sure... but I think it's a classic.
Rating: Summary: Mid 80's classic Review: Ferris Beuller is without doubt the best film John Hughes made in his career. While admittedly it is not the finest piece of cinema to be released in the U.S, its lively, funny, charming, and most importantly, its damn funny. If you want to see a great teen comedy before the genre was ruined by the current teen-slasher craze, you could do far worse than giving ferris a try.
Rating: Summary: A Movie That Pictures A Time Review: There are some strong emotions in my life that I would never forget: the first kiss, seeing Keith Richards playing the first chord of (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction alive and watching this movie for the first time. It really changed my life. Is there anyone that never thought about being Ferris Bueller just for once? I tell you people: in the next century, anytime someone studies the 80's of this century, they will remind of Ferris Bueller. I've watched this movie hundreds of times and I just keep going on and on...
Rating: Summary: Sooooo, good.Mathew Brodric was so good in this. Review: This is one great movie.I loved it.If you have not seen it yet then you should go see it.
Rating: Summary: Loved It!! Review: Saw this movie back in 1986 at age 13 when it was playing at the local Cineplex. I instantly fell in love with the character of Ferris. I love everything about this flick. By far the best Matthew Broderick role and the only time I ever really liked Jennifer Grey--she was great in this. Favorite quotes: "They bought it!" "Bite the big one, Junior." "So that's how it is in their family." "The question isn't what are we going to do, the question is what aren't we going to do." And of course the classic "Life moves pretty fast..." etc. See this movie! (As Judge Reinhold said in "Fast Times," another 80's classic.."Learn it! Know it! Live it!")
Rating: Summary: Absolutely the best teenager film ever... Review: I've watched this film so many times...I don't know a single person who hasn't watched and loved this film! I believe that Ferris' Bueller day Off is that kind of movie so perfectly conceived, with characters so adorable, so charming, that no one can resist. It doesn't matter how angry or upset you are with the world or your own life, the first time you watch it, you'll end up with a smile in your face and possibly in your soul as well, when the movie reaches its end... By the way, someone asked: "whatever happened to that guy who played Cameron? " Well, I don't know his name, but his currently working on the SPIN CITY series along with Michael J. Fox, and he's still funny as hell today... Thanks for this oportunity to express my opinion.
