Review: This movie still brings tears to my hi top wearing eyes. If ever there was a piece of cinema that truly reflected the 80's ... this is it. The only catch, which most people don't realise is that in the origional form, Andie and Duckie end up together! ( If you can find the paperback book.. grab it... ) however while filming things changed. It was never confirmed to me that it was Ringwald that demanded the change ... but this just made it all that much more realistic. The ending - the first tiem I saw it left me SO ANGRY. Anyone who has been Duckie knows that you don't walk away as quickly as that. I t had to be a mistake. Either way, an excellent portrait of the 80's , and a movie where Andrew " Dice " Clay does not utter a single vulgar word. Who says miracles never happen.

Review: Why oh why did I wait so long see this film? Not since I saw "Ordinary People" was I so captivated. This is filmmaking at its finest -- Hughes/Deutsch and the superb cast were so effective and original in conveying teen emotion. The music also holds up very well after 13 years.

Review: Pretty in Pink is one of the best movies Molly Ringwald had played in and that John Hughes directed. If you love 80's movies I would pick this one. It's a great teen flick about a poor girl falling in love with a rich guy.

Review: This is one of my all-time favorite movies. I've watched it over and over again and am glad to have found it at Amazon to purchase it. It is well acted. I love the interactions between all the characters. "Ducky" is hilarious. "Andy" is real and "Blane" shows us that peers can influence us in a sometimes negative way. This is one movie that I'll never tire of watching. It lets you know that it doesn't matter if you have money. It's being happy that counts. It brings back a lot of memories. You won't go wrong by purchasing this movie. Enjoy!

Review: Okay...like, I totally fell in love with this movie. Maybe because I have this strange obsession with Andrew McCarthy. I dunno, but this movie was great. It's funny and sad at times, but that's what makes a movie a good one. I think this, St. Elmo's Fire, and The Breakfast Club are my favs! I mean...speaking in terms of 80's movies!
