Summary: Lizzie's Trip to Rome
Review: The movie is set in Rome, Italy, where Lizzie Mcguire is mistaken for international singing sensation Izabella by Izabella's singing partenr, Paolo. Paolo seems to be a nice guy at first, but his image changes in a quite impactful way.
But that's not the real story for fans of the Lizzie Mcguire TV show. The part about the movie that is the real interest is the romantic growth in the relationsip between Lizzie and best friend Eric Gordon AKA "Gordo." As those who have followed the TV series diligently know, Lizzie already knows that Gordo has started to like her more than a friend, but it is in the movie where Lizzie starts to feel romantically toward Gordo.
The movie is actually quite touching and romantic when the audience gets over the ridiculessness of Izabella. The only dissapointing part of the movie is that the end, while trying not to spoil it, is awkard, but for those fans of romantic literature, it's dissapointing in a good way. In short, the movie is a fantastic family film that touches the hearts of movie goers while also providing comic relief and a little bit of action and mischeif as well. Everyone who is familiar with the TV show cannot afford to miss this wonderful cinematic presentation.

Summary: We love Gordo!
Review: I love Gordo! He is sooooo cute! Can I marry him, please? He's got the soulful looks down almost as well as Michael Moscovtiz (aka Robert Caramine of Rooney- we LLLLLLOOOOOOVVVVEEE YOU! AHHH) in Princess Diaries. This movie is truly DA BOMB. I just wish I could be as cool as Hilary Duff! Even though she cheats on Aaron Carter. But that's ok b/c I love Gordo- but they should have at least made out at the end- one kiss- come on- that's pitiful, the guy covered for you the whole time Lizzie...I hope the alternate ending has some smooooching ! Love ya Gordo!

Summary: Cheap imitation of Amanda Bynes
Review: This movie is based on a show on the Disney Channel, called The Lizzie McGuire Show. It is clearly a cheap imitation of The Amanda Show, a show that aired soon before The Lizzie McGuire show did. The Amanda Show stars Amanda Bynes, and actress with talent. Hilary Duff (who plays Lizzie) has absolutely no talent whatsoever, and is constantly trying to be as good as Amanda Bynes--BUT SHE NEVER WILL BE!!!

Amanda Bynes then started to star in movies. In 2002 she starred in Big Fat Liar, and in 2003 she starred in What a Girl Wants. Isn't it very cooincidental that soon after these movies came out, this crap-ola movie came out? I suggest that customers avoid this title, and buy something better from amazon.com.

Well, finally the Disney Channel fired Hilary (Hilary actually expected to be paid as much as a real star LOL). They'll show reruns, but for now, Hilary Duff is out of the Limelight. There will also be no sequel to this movie. (YES!!!!)

Summary: Hilary proves she's the best girl ever!
Review: First of all, I love it. My mom loved it. My sister loved it (and she's twenty). It was so charming. I never, ever thought it would end like it did, which made it even better. 4 stars for how cool the movie was. (ooh, yay! Im so happy we FINALLY got a friggin DVD player- Im getting the DVD ASAP) As for the actors and actresses, it's the last star that I can budge on this rating thing. If it wasn't, I'd give it 4 stars (again). Hilary is so sweet, so charming. Some say she's a modder, or a poser. I wouldn't believe that for eternity. You know why?
She isn't a modder or poser. She's a fifteen-going-on-sweet-sixteen girl that loves her fans and everything else good with a lovely life. Mom, dad, sis, and dogs. She sings, acts, dances, you know. Hils (&the other stars deserve what they want. Especially Hilary.
The story is so long, more than the stupid "maximum of 1000 words" thingermabobber, that I can't put it down.

Sorry, but just trust me. For y'all that either never saw it and want to, or who don't know whether or not to buy it, take my advice. It deserves five stars. If you are a fan of Lizzie or Hilary, get it ASAP- before they run out. If you have a little girl from 5-15 years old, let 'em see it. They'll love it.
I know I did.
And my mom.
And everyone else I know, too!

Summary: A Sweet Delight
Review: Sunday, May 4, 2003--The TV series "Lizzie McGuire," with its pre-programmed cheesiness, is a harmless guilty pleasure. It's silly and slapsticky, but also inoffensive and full of heart. So, when the movie opened, I said, "Eh, why not?" And while certainly not perfect, "The Lizzie McGuire Movie" is such a sweet diversion that you can't help but fall under its charm. Lizzie (the youthfully charismatic Hilary Duff) and her class, after graduating from junior high (in an amusingly embarrassing ceremony), head to Rome for a summer trip. There, Lizzie runs into Italian pop star Paolo (Yani Gellman) who informs her that she is the spitting image of his former singing partner, Isabella (also played by Duff, in a cutely fake accent and wig). Paolo tells Lizzie that he needs her to impersonate Isabella so that his career can get a much-needed boost. The whole time Lizzie is sneaking away from her class and their strict chaperone Miss Ungermeyer (Alex Borstein, getting all the best lines and delivering them with amusing zest) to meet and help Paolo, she fails to realize that her geeky best friend, Gordo (Adam Lamberg), is deeply in love with her. Typical plot complications ensue, but there is neat little twist near the end, and the climax of this movie is so exciting (in teen dream terms, that is) that you can't help but get swept up in it. A good family film, though anyone with a soft spot for light-hearted fluff will likely enjoy it.

Summary: Hilary shows great potential as a singer and a great actress
Review: Hilary Duff is a great rolemodel for all ages. She plays Lizzie so well for a person completely opposite of her. Lizzie McGuire ruins her junior high graduation and it airs on CNN. Can anything be more embarassing? Anyway she gets out of the country and goes to Rome on a school trip. She gets mistaken as a Italian popstar and goes along with it. She even gets a hot guy as a groupmate! But all goes haywire when people get suspicious and she has to perform! Hilary sings 2 songs in the movie. If you're a Hilary Duff fan, then get this movie!

Summary: Very Excellent, just like the show
Review: I really enjoyed watching this movie, and it was nice to see it in the theater, because the awards show part is a good scene to listen to very loudly. my favourite part would probably be the awards show, because the thing with paolo was suprising, i would have enver guessed. this is the kind of movie that you'd watch with all your girl friends, or maybe with your sister or something, but either way, you have got to see it!
I would have probably gave it a four and a half (if possible), and not a five, b/c some parts (not lots though), were kind of boring.
