Review: Let's skip the formalities and cut right to the chase: this DVD is bad. Mind-blowingly, stunningly bad. Martin Lawrence has lots of energy, but none of the talent to make himself a distinguishable comedian. For true comedy, get anything from the legendary Richard Pryor or even "The Original Kings of Comedy." The waste of time that was put into the making of this production is near-criminal.

Review: Straight up, this is the worst thing, ever. And i'm not just saying it's the worst DVD ever... it's the worst THING ever, and I'm including genocide and cancer in the mix. Martin is an okay actor... i used to watch his show as a kid, and it was alright, but my god... what the hell is he doing to stand-up comedy?Firstly, he talks so damn fast, i can't understand a thing he's saying, and when i DO, it's just not funny. I get the feeling like he's setting the stage for a joke... but the joke never gets there. Like putting together all the ingredients for a cake, but never bothering to put it in the damn oven... Bottom line: bad bad... BAD dvd. If you want some kick ass comedy, take a look at Dave Chappelle or Mike Birbiglia. Not this guy.

Review: THIS HBO STAND UP COMEDY SHOW, WHICH WAS THE FIRST OF TWO CONCERTS THAT MARTIN LAWRENCE PERFORMED ON CAMERA, IS KINDA UNEVEN. IN THIS VERY PROFANE CONCERT, MARTIN TALKS ABOUT SEX, PRISON, (...) WOMEN, SNITCHES, WHITE PEOPLE, LATINOS, AND RACISM. IT'S QUITE HILLARIOUS AT TIMES, BUT THEN THERE'S THOSE DULL SEGMENTS OF THE SHOW THAT'RE UNFUNNY AND THAT'D MAKE YOU BORED. MARTIN IS A FUNNY GUY. BUT, THIS CONCERT COULD'VE BEEN A LOT BETTER. DIE-HARD MARTIN LAWRENCE FANS OUGHTTA LIKE THIS. FOLLOWED 8 YEARS LATER BY RUNTELDAT, WHICH WENT TO THEATRES.

Review: This is a hillarios video, with lines that will keep you laughing all the way throught the video. Don't listen to Lenord Maltin, if you listen to his opinion you wouldn't like Martin Lawerence anyway! It is up there with Ediie Murphy RAW for one of the best stand-up videos out there! You go boy!

Review: This is undeniably the worst stand up performance ever.Martin Lawrence is a decent actor.Big Momma's House is hilarious.But in stand up,he can't joke his way out of a paper bag.Almost every other word is a swear word.I don't mind swearing,but it can get old fast.Also,the topics discussed in this DVD are the same topics every black comedian has talked about:race,drugs,and sex.When Richard Pryor and Chris Rock do this,it can be funny.When Martin and other certain comedians do it,it is not funny.His routine on racism is the most racist routine of all time.His impression of a white man is really annoying.If you want to hear a good impression of a white man,check out Dave Chappelle's "Killin' Them Softly."He is hilarious.Steer clear of this and Runteldat".
