Rating: Summary: NOW THAT'S WHAT I CALL BASKETBALL! Review: This is a good film. As you can see, to Now that's what I call music. The best album will be Now that's what I call Basketball. Singer Lil'Bow Wow in his first film ever. He was very good acting as Calvin Cambrige, so did Jonathon Lipnicki did good acting as Murf. Just like in Stuart Little and Stuart Little 2 he did good acting as George. The only thing about Calvin Cambrige is his snoring makes me laugh.

Rating: Summary: LikeMike's The Best Review: I think the movie was great.BowWow did a great job, considering this was his first movie. When he got a chance to play one on one with that man(im forgetful)that was one of my favorite parts because thats when everybody knew that he had it going on and he was all that!Oh,yeah I love him too,in The Best Man and The Brothers.Well, the point is the movie was the bomb,I mean it was awesome!
Rating: Summary: HOLY COW, THIS MOVIE DESERVES A BIG WOW! Review: The acting was better than I thought it would be. And the story was good too, though not completely original. Calvin lives at a group home for orphans, run by a guy who makes him and the others do "scam" work for their privileges ("Oliver Twist"). Things are simple and normal until an old pair of sneakers and Calvin get zapped by lightning (in what becomes a mix of "The Computer Who Wore Tennis Shoes" and "Angels in the Outfield"). Okay, that is enough of the references. Calvin is signed up to play for the L.A. Knights, and the predictability is left on the sidelines, but still there at the same time (if that is possible). I recommend it for the whole family. Four stars for a couple spots that drag, and an unnecessary subplot the ultimately ends in a semi-disturbing chase sequence. Rated PG for very mild language and aforementioned chase scene.
Rating: Summary: Like Mike-all you need is a hear and you'll love this movie Review: I saw Bow Wow's movie Like Mike on it's debut day,July 3rd.The movie defintely gets two thumbs up for me...too bad I wasn't born with an extra thumb because then it would get 3! The movie isn't all about basketball....Bow Wow also has his mind set on finding a family to adopt him in the movie so it's not all about ball! This movie is for kids and grown-ups(they thre Morris Chestnut in there!)The movie is funny, sad, and many more. Go see it for yourself.
Rating: Summary: Just a Lil' Entertaining Review: Proving once again that Hollywood is desperate for new ideas, John Schultz takes the magical kid formula that tanked as "Rookie of the Year" and plugs it into a basketball setting to come up with "Like Mike". The movie stars 4'9" kiddie rapper Bow Wow (no Lil' anymore, please -- puberty is on the way) as an orphan who finds an old pair of sneakers which are struck by lightening thus empowering the youngster with NBAesque super skillz. Soon he is in he pros and flying around the arenas in a style reminiscent of "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" and slamming and popping 3-pointers over the best in the league. Sure the premiss is silly and the plot lifted from 4 other movies, but one shouldn't look too harshly upon the film and see it for what it is. It is a movie for kids that let's them experience the grand fantasy of outdoing the grownups and growing a little themselves in the process. Aside from the atrocious acting, cliched dialogue and overly predictable antics, there is an entertaining story here and I couldn't help but laugh. Not at how bad the film was but at the noble efforts the cast and crew put forth to bring life into a tired and overly churned out idea. Since 2 1/2 stars are not an option, I decided to round up. Recommended with apologies.
Rating: Summary: LIKE MIKE IS NBA ACTION Review: The movie was so cool, it talks about a kid called Calvin Cambridge, he founds a shoe with Michael Jordan's name on it. When she wears that shoes she could do anything Michael Jordan could do. Be sure to check it out there is a lot of NBA stars acting in that show. I will give you few of them. Chris Webber, Vince Carter, Jason Kidd and Allen Iverson. NBA fans be sure to check this film out.
