Review: ¿Se pueden seguir haciendo películas, que no tengan valor alguno para nosotros los expectadores?. Aparentemente The Waterboy es un buen ejemplo de que si. Una pelicula aburrida donde el típico "nerd" del colegio termina siendo el héroe de un pueblo sureño, solamente por el hecho de jugar Football. Adam Sandler no sorprende, una vez mas, en un rol sin gracia al estilo Jim Carrey en The Cable Guy. Lo rescatable es, sin ninguna duda, la madre de este jugador improvisado interpretada por la genial Kathy Bates, que maneja maravillosamente el rol de una mujer sureña excéntrica y disparatada. Consejo: Dejar que las aguas sigan su curso natural.

Review: Adam Sandler is excellent at acting - so people who criticize him, don't! He does what he has to do to act and deserves praise.This is a stupid, wacky but cool movie about Bobby Bocuher (Sandler) and his over-protective moma (Kathy Bates) who doesn't know about his tackling skills and he joined a football team, which is not allowed. Will his moma fake her death? Will she embarass her son? Will she play football herself? This is an unpredictable funny flick co-starring The Craft's Fairuza Balk and Screams Henry Winkler.

Review: In my Austin Powers 2 review I stated that Adam Sandler is the only actor who might be up for the running to be called WORST ACTOR OF ALL TIME! And movie does nothing but prove my point! Stupid typical kind of movie I have at least come to expect from Sandler! COMPLETE GARBAGE!

Review: Adam Sandler has a great movie here! The humor never seems to let up from start to finish! Bobby Boucher is a waterboy, who is obsesed with water. When the team he is working for fires him, he goes to a team who hasn't won a game in years. He can sack so well, he is now on the team! Well, the team now is winning every game because of Boucher. Then they match up against the team he used to work for. All this time, he loves his mama!

Summary: Good, but some rough spots.
Review: This movie was funny at points, but had it's share of rough spots. Just the whole Bobby "Boucher" thing and Adam sounding like an imbecile wasn't a good concept. I mean, come on, guys on a football team picking on him because he did his job and talked stupid. On the other hand, the hillbilly mother in the bayous of Louisiana was pretty funny, and I promise you'll get a kick out of all the tackling that Adam does. But let me be frank, if you wan't to sit down to a good Adam Sandler movie, pick up The Wedding Singer or Happy Gilmore or maybe even Big Daddy. The Waterboy, good movie, but not great.
