Summary: Great comedy
Review: If you've been to Vegas you'll find this excellent, if not it's still a funny movie and will make you want to visit. Chevy Chase is still good as Clark Griswold and Beverly D'Angelo great as Ellen. Loads of good Vegas stuff and cameos from Wayne Newton, Sid Caesar and Siegfried & Roy. If you enjoyed the other Vacation movies check this out.

Summary: why did they make this movie?
Review: For money, that's why. This film is sooo boring and unfunny...Chevy Chase is too old to do comedy anymore and so is Randy Quaid...the two of them just slosh around and say unfunny one-liners...Chevy Chase doesn't even try to be funny, and when Randy tries to be, it's just awkward and forced. Please don't waste you're time and money on this garbage. P.S. it comes on TV like everyday but still don't watch it!

Summary: Not as funny as the first 3 Vacations, but still okay.
Review: The Griswalds are back on another Vacation, this time time to fabulous Las Vegas, but it lacks one thing... The National Lampoon humor!!!

There are so many things missing in this movie- Chevy Chase looks old and is getting bald and isn't as funny as USUAL(don't get me wrong, I'm a big Chase fan), He doesn't have funny outbursts, and Ellen isn't her usual sassy self.

There are some funny parts, though, like when they visit the Hoover Dam and meet their "dam damn tour guide", when we see Christie Brinkley back from the original Vacation, or when Clarke wastes the family's 25,000 dollars on gambelling.

Overall, not the best vacation at all. If you've never seen any of the first 3 Vacations, check out the original one or the X-Mas one. For more info. on those, see my other reviews.

Summary: Funny, but it doesn't have that hilarious '80s formula
Review: 'Vegas Vacation'- a movie made 8 years after the 3rd National Lampoon's "Vacation"(Christmas Vacation, 1989) just does NOT have that funny, original, and stupid '80s humor that the other 3 are filled with. Although it is funny when Ellen falls for Wain Newton, and when Clark goes to Hoover Dam with the rest of the family, AND when Rusty (their son) wins 4 cars,- it just can't beat those hilariously laugh-making 'Vacation' films that appeared in theatres about.. what?- 15 YEARS AGO?! I mean, if you are going to make a 4th one, make it a little better,...'cause people need it to be pretty darn good if you make a 4th 'Vacation'. Starring: Chevy Chase (as usual), Beverly D'Angelo, and Randy Quaid. I give it a B. Check out my other reviews for: 'National Lampoon's Vacation', 'The Family Man', 'Romy and Michelle's Highschool Reunion', 'CON AIR', 'Finding Forrester', 'SCREAM 3', and many many more!

Summary: "Drinks at the Snackateria, on me."
Review: You may have to develop a taste for this movie. I like it as much as the other Vacation movies but some people don't feel the same way. The transfer is full screen, which is a bummer, but I really don't mind because I'm really not missing much from the sides anyway, its just a comedy. Sound is good for the movie being a comedy not "Die Hard", so no complaints there. More of the usual cast, crew bios and the trailer. Being a big Chevy Chase fan this is probably his best movie since "Fletch Lives"!

Summary: This is O.K
Review: This movie is pretty good if your in the mood for it. Its not boring or anything, its a fun 2 hours that will keep you company, but there are some unreal stupit parts that sometimes make no sense. When Chevy Chase is at hoover dam he does not unusual things not the average person will think of doing, he climbs up some mountain at the place and nearly dies and Its not really that funny, but when Eddy shows up it gets funny like always, its funny when Eddy and Clark Griswald are at the All you can eat diner and the way eddy eats is funny. The two kids are suprisingly stealers of the movie they tend to be a little more entertaining than the adults. Audrey in this movie is pretty good looking and like always Ellen Griswald is a babe. I for some reason really like this movie now. I love to watch it when it's on t.v alot but a couple of years ago I got this out on video and I just thought it was one of the stupitest movies I had ever seen maybe it was because I payed money to watch it but now when it airs on TBS or TNT I proudly watch it and now it makes a little more sense this movie when it's on television don't ask me why.

Summary: The original formula was tampered with
Review: Let's face it, what made the 'Vacation' movies funny was Clark Griswold's over the top 'family togetherness'. In this film however he actually encourages the family to 'do their own thing', something unheard of in the the former three films. The only real 'Vacation' type humor is at Hoover dam, where Clark gets into his bizarre and unbelieveable mischief.

Randy Quaid again literaly steals the show as cousin Eddie. Highlights of the film are Beverly D'Angelo's outfits (she's still one hot momma), the casino of kid's games, and Sid Caesar's 'winning heart attack'. Not a bad movie and good for a few laughs, but not near the quality of the first three.

Summary: Hilarious gambling tips from Chevy Chase himself
Review: I haven't ever saw the previous movies in this series, but I know one thing, "Vegas Vacation" isn't a bad movie at all. Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo star in this funny movie in which them and their two kids, known as the Griswold family, go to Las Vegas for a family vacation when Chevy Chase finds out that he has a gambling addiction problem. And even worse, Chevy Chase has got to be the best in the world at losing, especially at Blackjack. The Griswold family also take a trip to the Hoover Dam which is pretty amusing.

"Vegas Vacation" is a good movie, but it's not one of Chevy Chase's funniest movies, at least not in my opinion it wasn't. However, parts of it are hilarious and it's a fun movie to watch, so I do recommend it to anybody who likes comedy movies. You might learn some tips on what not to do if you ever go gambling from Chevy Chase himself.

Summary: Another funny Griswold vacation...
Review: Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo put together another hilarious Griswold family vacation. While Ellen (D'Angelo) is busy falling for Wayne Newton, Clark (Chase) continues to screw things up by gambling away all of their vacation money. Eddie (Randy Quaid) somehow manages to meet up with the Griswold's again, continuing to act like a neanderthal. Rusty becomes a high roller and Audrey gets a hangover.

If you liked the previous Vacation movies, I recommend Vegas Vacation. Even though it was not as good as Christmas Vacation, it is worth adding to your collection.

Summary: good but not great
Review: The movie to me was funny, but it was not as good as the first one
