Review: Adam Sandler is a fantastic actor. Funny and Intelegant. Adam Sandler is #1 in my books and one of my top favorite actors. Keep up the good work adam, by making people laugh their head off. The reason why I said one is because he doesn't have the body like Courtney Cox does.

Review: Adam Sandler is the coolest actor in this movie. It is my personal favorite! Adam is a wanna a bee hockey player, but the only problem is he ain't any good. Through a stupid bet though he finds out his unique ability in golf and begins that. Soon after a lot of wins Happy goes to the big match and beats Shooter McGaven and takes the gold jacket and gets hooked up with a real hot chick.

Review: If the lord invented movies to help people smile, he must have known Adam Sandler was coming along! Happy Gilmore is a brilliant comedic endeavor that leaves each and every viewer with a silly grin on his face for days. The second most "mainstream" of Sandler's films (Wedding Singer being first) this movie should appeal to even the staunchest Sandler hater. If you are annoyed or not amused by this film (or any other Sandler film for that matter) than you clearly are deranged or are the devil himself.

Review: Adam Sandler must just be the funniest guy ever. I was laughing outloud for the whole movie, and don't usually like films of the genre. It was great to watch it on DVD too, because we could watch our favorite parts over and over again with no problem.

Summary: All-time Great Comedy
Review: First of all, I am not an idiot. I appreciate great movies (my favorite is "How Green Was My Valley"), but this movie is simply terrific. While the cinematography leaves something to be desired, Mr. Sandler's jokes come fast and come funny. He has a more highly developed comedic form than most people give him credit for, and I cannot think of one joke in this film that misses. There is also a distinct pleasure one gets from watching the scorned Sandler beat up his hockey coach, screaming "That wasn't very nice!" - or observing Sandler take on an incensed Bob Barker. The other appeal of this movie is Sandler's underdog status; he is totally ignorant of the formalities of pro golf. He refuses to practice; he chooses a homeless man as his caddy; he calls for noise when teeing off; and he keeps his giant-sized winner's checks in the back seat of the car. As well, there are a few other good characters. Shooter, the best golfer on the tour, is the sleazy villian. Chubs, possibly the film's funniest character, is Sandler's teacher who admonishes him "Happy, stop acting like a damn fool." And of course, there is Sandler's former boss, an enormous man with a nail stuck in his head. What Sandler has shrewdly created here is one of comedy's most endearing and humorous characters. Unfortunately, critics, who would not laugh at anything unless in cynicism, shrugged it off as a mere frivolity. But, as the American people already know, Happy Gilmore is one of the funniest movies ever made.

Review: I loved the movie Happy Gilmore. I probably rented it at least 15 times (pretty stupid I'd have to say, but I couldn't find it for sale) before I bought it and since then have watched it at least 100 times. I used to think everyone would have to love Adam Sandler, but since I have recently been reading reviews of him, it turns out older people sometimes don't like him (only the stuffy ones like siskel & ebert; my grandma happens to love him)girls sometimes don't find his comedy funny (although I'm a girl), and that you won't like his movies unless you like him and his style. If this is true, Happy Gilmore is the least "sandlerist" of the bunch, right after the Wedding Singer. I, though, personally think he is hilarious and his movies are great!! Get this for your collection!

Summary: This is arguably the funniest movie ever made!
Review: Even the most jaded, cynical Sandler hater will be hard pressed not to laugh at this movie. It's the only entertaing film ever made about golf, and hearing Sandler say "Friends listen to 'Endless Love' in the dark..." is enough to make me laugh. Watch it and prove me right.

Review: Don't be fooled by Adam Sandlers past films like Billy Madison which was the most irritating film I have ever seen. Happy Gilmore is a good movie and Sandler uses his less anoying voice unlike in the WaterBoy and Billy Madison.
