Rating: Summary: One funny movie! Review: Part "HOME ALONE" on the road, part "NATIONAL LAMPOON" vacation movies. Totally HILARIOUS!! Check your brain at the door and get ready for some really funny stuff with this one. The gist of the show -- Well, in a Las Vegas casino, a group of people are given the opportunity to win $2. All they have to do is be the first one to get to the New Mexico bus station locker where the cash is stashed. And the rules to this game? There's only one rule -- THERE ARE NO RULES! Anything goes -- and it does throughout the course of this zany adventure. If slapstick humor isn't your thing, you won't care for this one. And if toilet humor (think what would be funny to a 13 year old boy) offends you, skip this one.

Rating: Summary: Rolling on the floor Review: As a fan of farce films such as "Noises Off!", I was highly entertained by this movie. The cast is well-chosen and the ludicrous situations in which they find themselves, however non-realistic, are thoroughly enjoyable. The only people who would not love this movie are those who cannot appreciate a good laugh for it's own sake. Watch it with friends - you'll all be splitting your sides.
Rating: Summary: funny Review: Man this movie was way funnier than I thought it'd be. With an all star cast and a lot of good gags, this movie never dragged and is one of my all time favorite comedies. The ending was a really clever way to resolve all the conflicts that built up in the movie. I haven't seen the original, It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World, so i don't know how this holds up against it, but I' m definitely a big fan of what I did see.
Rating: Summary: Race To Own This Review: This is my favorite movie of all time, and I am very indecisive. The basic plot is that six groups of people are racing from Vegas to New Mexico to get $2 million that a casino owner placed in a locker. The twist is that they are being bet on. The story cuts from one team to the next, each who have to go through hilarious adventures to finish the race. One team consists of two con men brothers who share an IQ of about 30. When they can't get airline tickets, they decide to shut down the airport by taking out the radar tower. Another team is a family of four headed by Jon Lovitz, who is the only one of them who knows that they're racing (he told his wife and kids that they're going for a job interview). They are forced to steal a car from a Neo Nazi museum when they're car is compted, but I will not give away whose car it is. Finally, one team consists of Rowan Atkinson, of the British hit series Mr. Bean. He plays a narcoleptic Italian tourist who doesn't care at all about money. This is a very well done movie, however I think that the ending could have been a little better. Oh well, what are you gonna do? This film is a must-see!
Rating: Summary: Absolutley Hysterical Review: "Rat Race" was a surprisingly good movie. The humor is nonstop as you are getting a laugh a minute and the great cast of characters chosen for this movie couldn't have been better. The plot to his movie is hysterical by itself. A group of betters makes a bet to see which of the people in the "rat race" will get to Silver City and claim thier reward. Along the movie the characters get themselves into so many dumb things that just make you laugh out loud. While many would say that this movie is stupid, it isn't. It is one of those comedies that you'll either love or you'll hate. This is humor that someone that would just sit back and let the movie play would enjoy. For someone that has to criticize everything about a movie should not watch this. This is a movie that could really get beat up but you should just watch it and enjoy. "Rat Race" is a great comedy that no fan of comedy should miss. It has a great cast of characters, a hysterical plot, and so many jokes that you won't be able to count them. I strongly recommend that you BUY this movie because it is one you'll keep wanting to watch. Be sure to check this one out. Happy Viewing!
Rating: Summary: Gross out but fun Review: Slapstick comedy at its very best. No depth, shallow comedy. The sort of party movie you like when you have downed a few...and dont like to think.Cows flying about, Jews dressed in Nazi attire, a guy sleeping standing, a vindictive squirrel saleswoman, a person who has lost his personality, a maverick helicopter pilot, a run-away heart,a disgraced referee driving a bus load of young grannies.....the characters and their quirks are too funny. Add some imaginative and outrageous scenarios with a feel-good ending...voila you have the perfect party film.
Rating: Summary: Horribly Over Hyped Drivel Review: Let me start by saying that I realize there are those who find this lame film funny (heck even a few movie critics did for cripes sakes!). However, I found it to be the WORST viewing experience of the last year. My buddy & I were about as close to leaving the theater as possible. The only time I was that close before was during the horrible Cheech & Chong fiasco "The Corsican Brothers". I cannot for the life of me figure out what people enjoyed about this cliched unfunny mess. You can see the "jokes" coming a mile away. So they begin the set-up & for the next painfully long 15 minutes you sit there groaning while waiting for inevitable lame punch line. Then they start the process over again setting up the next "joke" while you keep looking at your watch wondering how much longer it'll be before you are out of your misery. Boring 15 minute set-up, poor gag you saw coming 15 minutes earlier, repeated over & over ad nauseum. This is a bad, bad, unfunny film. About the only slightly amusing scene is where the cow is flying around & you saw it already a million times in the trailer. So renter/buyer beware...it's bad. I'd give this mess ZERO stars if possible. I'd sit through Scary Movie 2 about ten times again before I'd waste my time with Rat Race again. God help us all when they make the inevitable sequel. Good riddens.
Rating: Summary: I'm prairie doggin' on this one... Review: In a very bizarre way, "Rat Race" is a familiar story that seems to somehow borrow from the 1963 flick, "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World." It skirted around a little bit of saucy, almost sexy humor. It flirted with even some very tacky humor... the kind that we all publicly denounce as awful, but laugh at in private. Randomly selected inviduals on vacation in a Las Vegas casino are engaged in a race to get to a special New Mexico locker that contains a bag containing $2 million in cash. Little do they know, they are merely pawns in a much larger game of utra zillionaires who will wager on almost anything, including who it will be to win the race! The cast is very familiar and seems overloaded with zany antics... almost too many. But well worth the trouble of sitting through the movie is to see what happens when a busload of Lucille Ball impersonators are bus-jacked while on their way to an "I Love Lucy" convention. Although the ending was probably one of the stupidest on record, I'm still laughing as I write this, because I now know what it is to be "Prairie Doggin'."
Rating: Summary: Terrible Review: This is one of the worst comedies I have seen. Only Americans will like it, because they have no sense of humor!
