Summary: Hilarious! Two Thumbs Up!
Review: This is a hilarious movie. Nonstop laughs and a hilarious cast combine to create the most hilarious Christmas comedy ever! I could not stop laughing each time I watched this! The funniest person is the old lady that is very disoriented. I love this movie and the DVD is great too! I love the really long trailors for each "Vacation" movie. You can relate to this movie, with the snotty neighbors, and the forgotten, dusty gift in the attic. And I'm sure some of you out there can relate to the unexpected guest arriving, much to your displeasure. Chevy Chase's car scene in the beginning reminded me so much of my Dad's driving. You must buy this DVD, it's great. You'll laugh your little snow pants off! This is a must-have for any DVD collector. Also, check out the other DVD's in the "Vacation" series. ENJOY!

Summary: MANIC!! Holiday psychorama!
Review: "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacaton" was about one of the least films I'd have in my Christmas library. I rented it, and watched it last night. It has quite a bit of funny sequences, but there are totally unacceptable scenes in there. It makes Chevy Chase look like someone who has a real sick sense of humor. Also, near the end, he curses like mad, and uses the "F" word. UNACCEPTABLE AND SHOCKING!! I don't blame the MPAA for giving this picture the PG-13 rating. It's not for little kids to see by themselves. All of the family members are psycho people and behave like idiots. They make me laugh a few times, though. My favorite scenes are where Chevy Chase falls through the attic, lights the 25,000 lights up (I thought he was going to blow the whole power grid out) and all the rest of the lights in town dim, and they have to use nuclear power in order for them to work. Also, the SWAT team battle stations outside, the sewer overflowing and exploding and the dog, Snots (bad name), chasing the squirrel through the house which becomes a demolition derby. Think what you like, but I have to pass this up. The cursing, the sick humor at points spoil the picture.

Summary: The Griswolds again, at least they stayed home!
Review: Delightful holiday epic centering around the good-natured Clark Griswold, and his family. Beverly D'Angelo looked especially good in this. I have since had dreams of her in a Santa cap (and nothing else). Rusty and Audrey were kinda lame in the movie. Randy Quaid was a jerk, but that is his appeal. I would give this 1/2 thumbs up (due to amputation).

Summary: A True Definition of Christmas
Review: Let me just say, that I like this movie for one reason, because it actually tells the truth, Not all of us are happy on the holidays, and we may not be getting a big bonus, or we could be having a very sick cousin, or everyone really does not want to see each other. This is why this film is funny, it doesn't put itself behind a charade and make itself something it's not it shows people what a terrible christmas would be like, and I think people laugh at this because they know that they could never be in these situations, plus most of the situations Chevy Chase and Company get in simply are a hoot. If you want the "other" true meaning of christmas get this movie.

Summary: A Christmas favorite you'll want to watch again and again!
Review: If you have yet to see this movie, my advise would be to go out and rent it or better yet, buy it. This instant classic will be one you'll watch every year for years to come. Fun for the whole family!

Summary: One word describes this-HILAREOUS!
Review: It's not for kids but I still love this movie! Plot: Clark Griswold tries to have the best Christmas ever for his family. But it turns out to be the worst when Eddie and other relatives show up! Aunt Bethany and Uncle Lewis are so funny! They're the only people in the world that would wrap up a live cat and jello! But you should just watch the movie to see what happens to the cat! and about those who say that this should be in widescreen, it probably won't happen. I never have liked widescreen anyway. Just seeing black on the top and bottom of the picture is just stupid. So, anyways, buy this DVD. It's worth it!

Summary: Great movie, not a great DVD.
Review: Make no mistake, the movie is great and is a classic. Very funny, one of the great classics. But the DVD is another story. I would be embarrassed if I was Warner Bros for releasing a DVD like this one. No extras, picture and sound are fair, nothing you would expect for a DVD. No widescreen, just like a vhs tape. But it is a great movie to own, and rather own the DVD than the VHS.

Summary: One of the funniest christmas movies ever!!
Review: This one is probably the best one out of all the National Lampoons series. The first one is a classic movie as well, but christmas vacation tops them all in my opinion.Every christmas season I watch this one ,it's funny from the beginning to the end.A surprise visit from Clark's cousin Eddy makes this movie even funnier.I think cousin Eddy made this one a classic,I
mean with out cousin Eddy it wouldn't be as funny.
This is a must own for every National Lampoon's fan.
