Summary: The funniest movie of all time!
Review: Caddyshack must be the funniest film of all time! It is so hilarious with Chase, Dangerfield, Knight and Murray at their best! One of my favorite parts is when Murray is talking about killing Chuck E. Rodent, the infamous gopher. Very funny, a must-have for all movie fans. Any comedy-film lover isn't a comedy-film lover until he has seen this film! Buy it now!

Summary: Great movie, if only Oscar had a category...
Review: Great juvenile humor! It is the movie every low budget comedy wants to be the next one. Sadly, this movie is the reason all of those skiing comedies came out. This is a film that is great to have running in as background noise while working/studying.

Summary: Grab your bag
Review: Caddyshack is a movie that takes place at a upscale country club. The plot is based around a golfing match for high stakes between a team of Rodney Dangerfield and Chevy Chase versus Ted Knight. Caught in the middle is Michael O'Keefe. But forget the plot, it really doesn't matter. What matters are the brilliant comedic performances given by the above-mentioned and Bill Murray. Mr. Dangerfield plays a wild and crazy land developer who is rude, crude and obnoxious. Mr. Chase is Ty Webb, who is independently wealthy and plays golf without keeping score. Mr. Chase is at his wisecracking, smug best. Mr. Knight, plays a stuffy judge and he brings his Mary Tyler Moore persona to the character as he thinks he's smarter than he actually is. Mr. O'Keefe is given the least funny of the roles, but we feel for his character Danny Noonan. Mr. Murray gives a tour-de-force performance as Carl, the bumbling, stoned assistant greenskeeper. His scene where he describes as the Cinderella story at the Masters is a movie classic and one of the funniest scenes ever filmed. If you like comedies and want to laugh, then Caddyshack is for you. It is a movie that you can watch a million times and laugh just as hard as the first time you saw it.

Summary: Great big gobs of greasy, grimey gopher guts...
Review: "Caddyshack" is the film that unleashed upon the world the genius that is Bill Murray. Murray's one of our national treasures, but here, he's not his usual laid-back, sarcastic, hound-dog eyed self. Instead, he's a mutant stoner groundskeeper at war with a gopher puppet.

There's not really a plot. The Patron Saint of Slobs, Rodney Dangerfield, wages war with uptight millionaire snob Ted Knight. Zen golfer Chevy Chase beds an heiress. And then there's something about a caddy who needs to win a golf tournament in order to get a scholarship. And his girlfriend may be pregnant. But does it really matter when the movie features the greatest swimming pool gag ever filmed, and an explosive finale?

Not giving a damn about anything was never this much fun!

Summary: Insanity... No Caddyshack.
Review: This is a great comedy movie starring many well known actors such as Chevy Chase and Al Czvenski.

This movie is basically about Bushwood Country Club, a snobby golf course. One person is having a war against a gopher, one is the town blabber mouth, one hits on every girl he sees and is extremely rich, and possibly the main character is a caddy.

The movie is also about a five-some playing a tournament at the country club.

The reason I gave this movie 3 stars is because it can get REALLY boring(-1 star) and some of its humor is tasteless and un-funny(1=-1 star). This is a must-see if you're a golf fanatic, though.

Summary: PLEASE READ - The New DVD Quality is Excellent!!
Review: Just a quick but important note! I've read quite a few reviews complaining about the quality of the DVD image. Apparently those reviewers are referring to an older DVD release of Caddyshack. The new DVD available now is excellent. It as a high quality, anamorphic widescreen transfer. Colors and image quality are great. Hope this helps.

Summary: One of the funniest movies of all time!
Review: "Caddyshack" has to be among the top ten funniest films of all time for a number of reasons. #1) The supporting cast. Although not overtly funny, both Chevy Chase and Ted Knight play straight men to two funny comedians: Chase's character to Bill Murray's wacky, doped-out greenskeeper character. An example here is during the scene when Chase is visiting Murray's residential quarters, and Murray offers Chase a place to sit and relax, and Chase says: "No thanks, I don't want to stick to anything". Knight and Rodney "I get no respect" Dangerfield have some classic exchanges throughout the movie as well. You'll have to hear them for yourself. #2) Dangerfield is a class act all by himself in "Caddyshack". With comical lines like "Last time I saw a mouth like that, it had a hook in it", "Now I know why tigers eat their young", "Hey toots, how'd you like to earn ten dollars the hard way" and many others, it's easy to see why Dangerfield became a mega-superstar soon after "Caddyshack" was released. #3) There's also the Baby Ruth bar in the swimming pool bit, which is a must see. If you ask me, the Rodney Dangerfield barbs are alone worth the price of this classic film. Kenny Loggins' smash hit "I'm Alright" is a perfect mini-soundtrack for the movie. As an added bonus, there is a trailer before the movie. You'll hear from the stars themselves talk about the making of "Caddyshack" as well as personal moments and their memories in making this comedy masterpiece. This movie shows no sign of wear and tear, and doesn't appear to be dated, even after a little more than twenty years! Since "Caddyshack-19th Anniversary Edition" is a rare collector's item, you may want to purchase it before it's a part of history!

Summary: A comedy classic
Review: "Caddyshack" is definitely a comedy classic of the ages. It teams up three of the best comedy actors of all time with Chevy Chase, Rodney Dangerfield, and Bill Murray to make this one of the funnies movies ever made. It's a hilarious movie that centers around a golf course. Some of the funniest parts of the movie are when a candy bar gets dropped in a pool and everybody thinks it's something else and Bill Murray trying to get rid of a gopher that makes Flipper sounds during the whole movie.

I can't stress how good of a comedy movie "Caddyshack" is, but trust me, if you like comedy movies with nonstop laughs all the way through, you need to get it. It's a true comedy classic in my book.

Summary: Hey Whitey, Where's Your Hat?
Review: This is one of(if not the)top comedies of all time. With the exception of Monty Python, I can't think of a single film which is as irreverent and as totally unconcerned with offending people as this film. Anyone who finds this "crude" or unfunny has got to have absolutely NO sense of humor or be dead(sometimes it's hard to tell). While Bill Murray and Chevy Chase are great in this film, it's really Ted Knight and Rodney Dangerfield that make this one a classic. Their like oil and water. Knight is absolutely perfect as the snobby judge, and Dangerfield has some of the best one-liners ever in a film. It would be nice to see them put out a "Criterion" type DVD for this movie, as there are deleted scenes on the TV version which can't be seen anywhere else, but that doesn't change the fact that this is still a classic comedy and well worth buying.
