Summary: It's Impossible to Watch This Movie Only Once!
Review: This histerical movie has the funniest cast I've ever seen aboard ship (boat). You can ignore the action of the main characters in many situations and just watch what's going on in the background and laugh out loud. The electrician/radio operator is really classic. Every one who's been in the service knows that guy. I'd forgotten how much I missed him. Suberbly directed, editing was right on the button.

Review: I must have seen this movie a hundred times and I still enjoy it. In itself already quite an accomplishment. Down Periscope is a great comedy, delivering its jokes at a stunning pace. Good work from both the director and the cast make this a perfect movie to watch 'for the umpteenth time' on a rainy afternoon.

Review: I found this movie to be one of the best made because it gave you the feeling of thrill and laughter. Some of the things they say on this movie make me laugh everytime, and I have seen this movie atleast 100 times. If you love to laugh and like to be on the edge of your seat at the same time, beleive me, this is your kind of movie.

Review: I had already loved this movie, and then I saw it with my huge weight lifting ex-marine boyfriend. He laughed so hard, he couldn't breathe, but he still couldn't stop laughing. He sounded like a 3 year old girl!

Review: What can I say? The advert looked great, so I watched it. And it was absolutely hilarious. Filled with great characters and side-splitting lines, Down Periscope is one of the funniest movies ever made. Kelsey Grammar and Lauren Holly are particularly good, but the rest of the cast are superb. Critics can say what they like - I'll always love this movie.

Review: I watched this film, and laughed from start to finish. It is simply one of the best comedies I have ever seen. All the characters are side-splitting, and the "Buckman Incoming" scene where he...let's one go is hugely funny. Kelsey Grammer and co are all great, and so on the whole, there's nothing to complain about. Watch at all costs!!!
