Summary: Classic Brit humor!
Review: I believe this to be the pinnacle of all the Monty Python movies. Full of classic lines still in use in conversations today. Set in the Dark Ages during the time of King Arthur, this witty film follows the quest for the Holy Grail, the cup used by Christ at the last supper. So many humorous things happen to the hapless Knights along the way it is difficult to pick a favorite scene, but I would have to say it is when Arthur confronts some peasants who give him quite an earful about governing systems. Quite funny! I highly recommend this movie, whether you are a Monty Python lover or are seeing this genre for the first time.

Summary: Best movie off all time, but only if you like British Comedy
Review: Monty Python and the Holy Grail is a extremely funny movie. My favorite parts are the Holy Handgrenade and Sir Lancelot being asked to spank an entire convent of sisters. This movie might not hit your funny bone if you are not a fan of british comedy however.

Summary: Absolutely hysterical!!
Review: This is THE funniest movie ever made! My friends and I are forever quoting lines from it to each other, and not only do we never get sick of it, we never run out of scenes to re-hash, either. Even if you don't like comedy, this is a must-see. You'll laugh yourself silly!

Review: Funny, funny, funny! Starting from King Arhtur riding himself, to the end where the French humiliate the Engilsh one last time!

Summary: This movie is hilarious!!!!!!!
Review: I believe this is the funniest movie out there. Everyone else points out funny parts, but the best is when Tim the Enchanter fires a missile from his walking stick!!

Summary: If you haven't seen it, do so now. Hysterical!
Review: The best one-liners permeate this film. Not to be missed

Summary: Time for a real director's cut
Review: Of course this is one of the funniest movies of all time, far surpassing Schindler's Moose or the Wehrmacht Travel Guide To France(and other low countries). The print, which was never pristine(or FDS) is getting tired, and this "widescreen" edition is not that much wider than the usual version. This is a great candidate to be remastered and/or digitized. I bought it, for I needed a new copy anyway, but Father, I don't want to marry her, I want to sing.....

Summary: Well, this was the first Python I ever saw
Review: ..and after seeing the rest I still consider it my favorite. You can see the influence this film had on spoofs such as Airplane and (regrettably) all the Leslie Neilsen Naked Gun flicks that came after. This film, however, has the distinction of being one of the best of the lot, and certain scenes will stick to you like glue (personal fave's : The Coconut, "I'm not dead yet!", and Castle Anthrax). As an English major with a Medieval concentration, it was even funnier within the context of the literature of the period (which as English majors and PhDs, the Python boys were familiar with). Give it a go..this one's a keeper. PS- As a girl who likes Python, try it on your girlfriend. You might be surprised at her sense of humor.

Summary: Of Course It's a Good Idea
Review: I saw this film six times in a row sitting in the Outer Circle Theatre in DC (back when you could do that sort of thing). There is a great scene in this film that explains the relationship between God and Man. God appears to Arthur and sends him on his quest. When Arthur tells God that God has had a good idea, God thunders. "Of Course It's a Good Idea." This line remains one of the funniest things I have ever heard.
