Rating: Summary: Release Curb Your Enthusiasm to DVD now! Review: Curb Your Enthusiasm is the funniest situation comedy produced today. Being a big fan of Seinfeld I relish that Curb Your Enthusiasm captures the same comic brilliance, though it's not constrained or inhibited by the censors. We need to release the DVD set now and stop the DVD injustice! Write your congressman and senator! Get the word out! We will not be silenced!
Rating: Summary: Best show on television Review: This is by far the best show on T.V. Since Seinfeld went off the air I haven't found a single show that I would break plans to watch every week, until now. I wish they would release this show on DVD today!!!!!!!!! It is the funniest show on television, the best comedy since Seinfeld (it may actually be better than Seinfeld) and Larry David is a comic genius!!!
Rating: Summary: the best Review: this is the best show ever on tv. its scandolous - there's no bad episodes. i've seen every one like 420 times, and they're all ridiculously funny.
Rating: Summary: Curb Our Wait Review: Although not as good as Seinfeld, the show is wonderful in its own way. Larry David brings "the david charm" to this show, presenting a wide variety of humour that send me into stitches. The acting is fantastic, and very real.It really DOES proove there is life after Seinfeld. Now, we'll wait for the DVD and get all that extra stuff.
Rating: Summary: Curb your Enthusiam Review: Absolutely the best show on TV. Hands down, no questions asked.......Best Comedy out there.....
Rating: Summary: You have got to see this! Review: Ok, first of all you should know that while most people will love this show, there are some that will absolutely loathe it. However, all people will fall into one of those two categories - love it or hate it, there is no middle ground. Personally, I do not understand how anyone could watch this show and not burst out in wild gales of laughter, I will grant that some people just find Larry David irritating. These are the same people who do not like "Seinfeld". "Curb Your Enthusiasm" is just downright funny. It is intelligent, but not pompous ala "Frasier". The acting, because much of it is improvised, is very natural, and watching David's reaction to his world crumbling around him on a weekly basis sounds like it would get tired, but it never does. Witness the episode where Larry's friend put his wife's aunt obituary in the paper, but mistakenly spells "aunt" with a c instead of an a. Not Larry's fault, but he gets blamed for that and for copping a feel on his best friend's mother in the same night. Just plain funny. Not highbrow, by any means, but funny. Watch it. You will laugh - I guarantee it.
Rating: Summary: AUGUST RELEASE DATE Review: Hello - I just spoke to Jeff Garlin (6/16/03) and he informed me that the DVD is set for release in August. He said that he and Larry recorded commentary for two of the episodes. Interestingly, he said that afterwards, Larry wasn't happy with one of the commentaries so now there will only be one for one of the episodes. : ( Also, Larry doesn't really understand the importance of extra bonus footage for DVD's so there may not be any at all! Anyway, this comes from Jeff Garlin and may change before it is released.
Rating: Summary: The best US comedy around. Review: I have just seen the first season on digital TV here in the UK. Larry David is just hilarious. Every little mistake he makes comes back to haunt him in each episode (like holding open the elevator, or ignoring someone dropping a golf ball). Every episode is so finely crafted it is worth watching several times. Favourite episode? It has to be "The Bracelet", featuring an excellent performance by Patrick Kerr (Noel from Frasier) as a blind man, along with the fantastic Richard Lewis, with whom Larry ends up in a fight outside a jewellery store. I want this show on DVD - in fact, I want all three seasons so that I can catch up with the rest of you in the US.
Rating: Summary: Larry David's DVD Falls Flat Review: How did they screw this up? How can the man, the myth, Larry David screw up a Curb DVD? I mean, c'mon, Larry, what is the deal with putting an episode of MTV's Cribs as an extra feature? Strapped for cash? And what about the commentary? All I can hear the whole time is you eating your "magical peanut butter sandwich." Please, next time, don't tell me what you are eating and make sure you don't try to speak when your mouth is full! Was this some kind of joke? Were you "in character" while doing the commentary? I won't even comment on the "dirty" easter egg... Next time, I'll watch Mr. Show...
Rating: Summary: Love This Show Review: This show is by far the absolutely funniest on TV. I love Larry David!!! Please hurry up with the DVD.........can't wait!!
