Rating: Summary: This movie was awesome!! Review: This movie is a must see! Mike Meyers, playing two roles, was brillint. This was one of the funniest movies that I have seen in a long time. This sort of thing is my bag, baby!
Rating: Summary: Yeah Baby! Review: Simply put FUNNY, Yes it's childish and has humor for kids, but isn't that why you watch a movie?
Rating: Summary: The Worst Movie I Have EVER Seen! Review: I thought this movie was the worst, most obnoxious piece of trash I have ever laid eyes on. It had one funny part, and it wasn't even that funny. After watching it with some friends, I was truley embarrassed that I even had it in my home! The only thing I can think of that is worse than this movie is the fact that they made a sequel to it!
Rating: Summary: This movie is pure 60s! Review: I LOVED IT! IT DIFINEITLY CAUGHT ONE OF THE Moods of the 60's, I thought running underneath the whole silly comedy, was the thought of how much we changed from free love to responsibility and also how we really still just want our freedom! If you look at it from that point you really have to say who ever thought this movie up and did the work on it actors, etc...Really caught the 60's and brought it to the 90's for an hour or so.
Rating: Summary: Brilliance overcomes 1 star reviews of ignorance..... Review: This movie is right on, it is brilliant and full of humor that is side splitting. You have to suspend disblief and learn how to laugh once in a while people!
Rating: Summary: THE WORST MOVIE IN HISTORY Review: This is the worst movie I have ever seen. The jokes are terrible and the humour is for 3 year olds. I've had more fun watching grass grow
Rating: Summary: A very new curve to movies of today! Review: I am so happy that they made a second movie of Austin Powers. My favorite new phrase is " oh behave." My friend and I congradulate you on job well done.
Rating: Summary: A definite cult classic! Review: This movie redefines the meaning of humor. Watch it once and you will be laughing, watch it twice and you will be imitating, after the third time you will be unexplainably hooked to Austin's (Mike Myers) catch phrases. Perhaps the greatest feature of the movie is that Myers is able to play both the good and bad guy with such incredible poise and "believability." This movie is definitely one of Mike Myers' greatest accomplishments.
Rating: Summary: Seth Green Does NOT Make the Movie Review: All you you people that watched that movie five times, just because Seth Green was in it, EVEN THOUGH YOU HATED IT, don't make any damn sense.
Rating: Summary: This film is simply hilarious in all aspects Review: "Austin Powers" is the funniest movie I have ever seen (I haven't seen the sequel "Spy Who Shagged Me" yet). The film cannot be placed directly in any catagory of comedy, (leaving it shaggadelic), yet it is belonging to them all. You could study this film in intense depth, and, in every aspect, you would find it amusing. It is truely the comedy of comedies. Mike Myers, (the writer & actor), is a very funny man. Some enjoy complex comedies, others like simple laughs [anything w/ Adam Sandler (simple)], but this film is none of those. Anyone who dosen't like AP is either too old or too slow. I would assume that they are incapable of understanding the clustered punchlines being thrown at them constantly, but that is alright. I would reccomend this production to anyone reads my review, well that was fun, Oh and remember that anyone who rated AP with less than 5 dosen't deserve to rate movies and should be punished.
