Summary: Absolutely smashing baby! Yeah!!
Review: This movie seems to have almost divided the country, you either love it or hate it. I for one love it. Every time I watch it I can't stop laughing and I don't even know why. The jokes are pretty simple but it must be the way that Mike Myers pulls it off. I am an avid James Bond fan and I suppose this is why I love all the hidden jokes in this movie. If you didn't see movies like "Goldfinger" and "From Russia with Love" you could never possibly understand all the jokes in this picture. My advice to those people who claim not to like Austin Powers, (God help them), see some of the old Bond movies with Sean Connery in them and you will be laughing your a** off at Austin Powers.

Summary: groovy?
Review: The story is hell when you have to write a paper linking Austin to Bernard Marx from brave new world.

Summary: The BIGGEST grooviest comedy of the year.
Review: The sequel to "Austin Powers: Internatinal man of mystery" is defanly the best film out of both films, This is greatest comedy of 1999, It finds Austin travelling back to 1969, after Dr. Evil steels his Mojo, where he falls in love with Felicity Shagwell (Heather Graham). If your a fan of James Bond movies, Well, Austin Powers is the Ultimate British secret agent. My Fav part is when Dr. Evil has a fight with a Priest on the Jerry Springer show. I have to say, about that this film, it is:

SMASHING BABY!! YEAH!!

Looking forward to the next movie.

Summary: A real Cult Film of the 90's !
Review: I saw (and loved) Wayne's World. I must have seen each James Bond Film with Sean C., Roger M. & Pierce B. : they're good. I also discovered The Rocky Horror Picture Show (the cult film of the 70's). Well, Austin Powers (#1) is an excellent mix of these films !!! It is THE ONLY Rocky Horror Picture Show's heir of the 90's, and it's really fun !

Summary: It wasn't that groovy, baby!
Review: Yes, it has it's moments like any film does. I just saw this for the first time waaay after all the hype had past. I guess I was expecting a non-stop laugh fest a-rama! There were only a couple funny farts I mean parts though! I enjoyed hearing "I Touch Myself" being played while the Fem-bots were being emploded, I can't think of anything else that stands out though. Maybe I need to see it again. Mike Myers was better in Wayne's World I'm afraid. Sorry all you Austiners out there!

Summary: Wow! Dumb at it's best!
Review: Come on people behind this movie, we need it to be some what funny. This was such a good idea, but you stopped writing when it started forming into a good movie. It's biggest problem is how gross it is. Takes away from the movie to the point that you don't care what is going on anymore. Mike is a wonderful talent, and the characters are so-so, but a really good script is needed. Disappointment. Followed by the equally dumb "The Spy Who Shagged Me"

Summary: he made outrageous claims like he invented the question mark
Review: I didn't think Austin Powers was all that funny the first time I saw it, but with repeated viewings it became clear that Mike Myers is an unquestioned comic genius. Austin Powers is chock full of good jokes from start to finish and anyone who doesn't laugh is trying hard not to. Despite claims that this is lowest-common-denominator humor, you have to be at least halfway intelligent to appreciate the subtle, brilliant humor of certain moments, as when Dr. Evil falls out of his chair and when Austin tries repeatedly to back that tourist cart out of the hallway. The real clincher, though, is Dr. Evil's speech about the details of his life at the therapy group. Quite possibly the funniest movie of the 90s.

Summary: GROOVY,BABY
Review: ALTHOUGH IT HAS BEEN SURPASSED BY AUSTIN POWERS THE SPY WHO SHAGGED ME,THIS STILL REMAINS ONE OF THE FUNNIEST FILMS I HAVE EVER SEEN SINCE SO I MARRIED AN AXE MURDERER.

GET IT NOW AND HAVE AN ABSALOUTLY SHAGADELIC TIME,BABY.
