Summary: Totally Shagarific!!!!
Review: Where do I begin?. The Spy Who Shagged Me is, by far, ten times funnier than the original. It's more colorful and fun. The plot, well, actually, there really isn't a plot. The original didn't have one either. Who really cares with movies like this?. Austin loses his mojo(oh no!!), thanks to Dr. Evil. That's pretty much it. Austin tries to regain his mojo and stop Dr. Evil. Heather Graham, as Felicity Shagwell, is a nice addition. There's nothing much to her part, but how nice to look at. The new character of Fat Bastard was extremely gross....and extremely funny. Everybody seems to of gotten a kick out of mini-me. Not me. I found the idea to of been very underused. Rob Lowe, playing a younger version of Robert Wagner, is hilarious. His impersonation is dead on incredible. Mike Myers is obviously a brilliantly talented man. He pulls every sight gag and joke in here to the point that it just explodes. It's a delight to watch. There are things here that don't make sense. But, does it really matter?. Is this film trying to win an Oscar?. No. Things like that in movies like this are the least important thing. It's all about having a good time. A good time you will have. Can't wait for Austin Powers 3!.

Summary: awesome baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: This movie is hilarious!! Anyone who takes it seriously and starts to brake it apart are losers! the movie isn't meant to be broken apart! It's just here to make us laugh(which it does a very good job at by the way!)I do admit though, they could have picked someone better than Heather Graham. She is horrible and has no good comedic timing what so ever. The end best shows this when, after giving fat bastard a shot in the pills, says, "that's for calling me crap you fatty!" What is the point of saying it, and if she was going to say it, put some life in it! Mike Myers is, as always,a genius. I also don't get the problem with the "gross out character" of Fat Bastard. He isn't very disgusting and, I know he has a meaningless part except for the mojo, but this movie isn't supposed too make sense. The best part is when Austin and Felicity are in the tent setting up camp!
you've gotta watch too fully understand it!

Summary: Do you want some chicken??
Review: Where do you start?? You know a film is a hit when you and your friends start to quote parts and end up in a conversation that means nothing to a person who hasent seen it, but leaves the people that have rolling about on the floor.

Is there no end to the tallent of Mike Myers?? Three roles completly different yet all amazing, Not only his speach but his body language- The part where he shoots the globe into its holder after cutting number 2 down to size, it is just side splitting!! It is not often a sequel is better than the first but this is! Maybe its the new characters of mini Me and Fat Ba*$?rd that give it the edge.

"Ive had bigger chunks of corn in me crapp!!"

It's got it all, a vilan "Dr No", a hero "Austin", a fine lady "shagwell" and not to mention the Jerry Springer show!!
This is truly one of the funniest films I have ever seen what with the fight between Austin and Mini Me, and the descriptions of Dr No's ship!! It is a must see even if you havent seen the first.
Two big thumbs up!! Can't wait for the third!!

Summary: Austin powersthe spy who shagged me!!!!
Review: This movie is just as raunchy as the first and maybe even MORE hilarious!!!! If you liked the first one you love this one!!! But even if you don't you may still like it!!! Th plot is. Dr. Evil go's back in time to the 60' so Austin has to go back and stop Dr. Evil from taking over the world. But its hilarious even if it sounds the same as the first. It gives the whole story of how Dr. Evils child(Seth Green)came onto this planet. The whole Jerry Springer thing is funny as well. And the beginning of the movie well I wont give that away, but let's say there is more to Austin's new wife then meets the eye!!! So this time Austin is teamed up with Felicity Shagwell to stop Dr. Evil and Dr. Evil steals Austin's Mojo so he's trying to get that back too!!! And that's funny. This movie isn't for ppl who have a bad sense of humor remember its very raunchy. Well *enjoy*!!! Cause its GRRRROOVY BABY!!! God Bless ~Amy

Summary: This movie is really funny!
Review: Man was I impressed. This film gave me a great laugh, and especially when everybody thought Dr. Evil's rocket looked like a huge .... Those were maybe the two funniest parts of all. My ultimate favorite part is when Felicity (Heather Graham) and Austin (Mike Myers) were in the tent and it looked like Felicity was reaching in and pulling things out of Austin's .... But actually he was just on his hands and knees looking at a map, and a sack full of weapons and things were right next to him. I really thought it was funny when Felicity reached into the bag and a smoke bomb went off so it looked like Austin let out an air-....

I also thought it was funny when Dr. Evil and Fat ... jumped at the sight of Mini-Me. And I liked how Mini-Me was always flipping the bird to people. But I think it's real gross in the scene where Fat ... and Felicity slept with each other. That was only because Felicity was ordered to shove a homing device up Fat ... ... so the Ministry of Defence could track and follow him. But later the fat man poops out the device and they loose him. Watch the movie and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Summary: Austin Powers, The Spy Who Dissappointed Me!
Review: After seeing the original Austin Powers, International Man Of Mystery, I was truly looking forward to the sequel. I even braved fighting the crowds and standing in line the opening weekend at the boxoffice. Little did I realize that it was all a waste of time! This film, which cannot hold a candle to the original, was such a major dissappointment. First of all, can I just say LAME PLOT! Austin Powers supposedly loses his Mojo, and this is where the film loses me! C'mon, who wants to watch Austin without his mojo? Without it he's just...boring! Second, Heather Graham, who plays Felicity Shagwell is pretty much a drag. Granted, she definately looks the part, but she lacks the zing and comic timing necessary to play off well with Austin. Also, the chemistry was sorely lacking. There was much better chemistry with Elizabeth Hurley in the first film. Another dissappointment was the fact that Elizabeth Hurley opted not to do the sequel, I guess she got an advance copy of the ridiculous script! There are definately a lot of problems with the storyline in this film. If Scott Evil were conceived in 1969, wouldn't he now be 30 years old? Why is he still a teenager?!!! Lots of inconsistent things in this film! Why is Elvis Costello in 1969 London? How did he get there and why is he singing with Burt Bachrach? Many things just don't make sense, it's amazing a film got made at all!

What happened to Dr. Evil's beloved Mr. Bigglesworth? If you blinked, you missed him! I did however enjoy Minime, but I found the musical interludes with him and Dr. Evil to be quite tedious. The character of Fat Bastard was to totally gross the audience out, which it did, but I found the bathroom humor to be tedious as well, and not particularly funny and definately below the standards that I would have expected from Mike Myers. Also, the scenes with many celebrities using different words to describe Dr. Evil's ship got tiresome the first time they did it and they do it several times during the film. There's also a lot of joke recycling going on here! I was just suprised at how much stuff was taken from the first film! Has Mike Myers lost his creative touch? Must he resort to fart jokes and bathroom humor to get laughs? Can't he hire an actress, to play his leading lady, who is funny and not just eye candy? Can't he write a decent script with some consistency and actually have a story line as well as be funny? Maybe we'll have to wait for Austin Powers III (if there is one).

Summary: Not as good as the first one, but not a disappointment
Review: In this sequel to "Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery", Austin Powers goes back in time to the swingin' 60's to battle Dr. Evil, who is attempting to take over the world (again!) and has stolen Austin's mojo. There, he falls in love with agent Felicity Shagwell (Heather Graham), meets Dr. Evil's 1/8 sized clone, and has an err.... interesting experience with coffee.

The complaints I had with this movie are as follows: although I didn't mind all of the repeat jokes and imitations, I felt the word "Shag" was overused in a way it wasn't in the first movie. I mean, "Shagwell" "Shaguar" really. Second of all, it didn't bring out as much of Austin Powers' sensitive, compassionate nature as in the first movie, he seemed even more obsessed with shagging than usual. Also, although Heather Graham played her character well, Felicity's obsession with Austin was no match for Elizabeth Hurley's hysterical portrayal of the straight-laced, prim Vanessa Kensington. For all those who think that Austin Powers is cheap and stupid humor this sequel reinforces that stereotype, unlike the first one which was cleverly done. Hopefully, AP3 will show an incline in quality.

As for the positives to this sequel, there are still quite a few. Scott Evil has returned with his ambivalent clashing of love/hatred towards his father (Dr. Evil) and just wait until you see what happens between Dr. Evil and Frau. Mini-me was the perfect parody of Dr. Evil and made for some hilarious scenes, and Fat You-know-what ruled! Mothers giving birth and children under two are not advised to attend this movie.

Summary: Austin Loses His Mojo
Review: Austin loses his mojo, the spirit that makes him the grooviest secret agent ever - so why would we want to watch Austin without a Mojo? Boring subplot focusing on the non-actor "Mini-Me". We don't care if he supplants Scott as Dr. Evil's favorite son. Fat Bastard character is unnecessary and excessive - does Myers think he is back in "I Married an Ax Murderer"? After reading some of the other reviews I believe this movie goes over great with a younger crowd who can't understand the spy references, whereas a more mature audience who appreciates the spy satire of the genre so evident in the first movie, are here sorely dissapointed. What a waste of Widescreen.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Lots of Fun!
Review: This spoof on Secret agents and the 60's is a lot of fun. This movie should be watched for its comedy and soundtrack. Actually a sequel that is good.... Follows the same randy vein as the first movie.

Summary: Another Goodie Packed Release
Review: The original Austin Powers was the first DVD I purchased that really blew me with its special features. Once again, New Line has done it right for the Spy who Shagged Me. Lots of fun stuff, attractively packaged, and plenty to just goof on. However, the movie itself suffers in comparison. The writing is still clever, there are some nice cameos, and Mini-Me is a riot - but Heather Graham, though very shaggable, baby, just doesn't have the sophistification that made Elizabeth Hurley so attractive in the original. Still, this isn't War and Peace, it's just a swinging good time, baby, so I'll still give this a groovy four stars.
