Summary: A lifesaver
Review: For people who have not yet seen The spy who shagged me, this is the best Austin Powers movie. It's just too hilarious, you'd probably laugh out loud at least one hundred times and the more you watch the better it becomes.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Extremely Funny!
Review: I own this Austin Powers, The Spy Who Shagged Me DVD and I think the movie is just as hilarious as the first movie Austin Powers, International Man of Mystery and Mike Myers was absolutely hilarious as Austin Powers and Dr. Evil and though I thought Elizabeth Hurley was great in the first movie and her cameo in this movie as Vanessa Kenzington I though Heather Graham was also great as Felicity Shagwell and Seth Green was once again very good as Dr. Evil's son Scott and I also liked Michael York as Basil Exposition, Verne Troyer as Mini Me, Robert Wagner as Number Two and Rob Lowe as Young Number Two. This is the type of movie that just may have you doubled over from laughing so hard and I very highly recommend this DVD to anyone who loves a good laugh and is not put off by bathroom type humor!

Summary: The best in the series!
Review: This second Austin Powers movie is the best. Consistently funny and well-paced--you will get some genuine belly laughs while watching this!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: funnier in the first
Review: the first is very funny but this takes the series to the next level with such characters as Minny Me and Fat Bastered Austin Powers is a great movie

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Funnier than the first!
Review: This is the funniest movie I've ever seen, including the part where Fat Bastard calls himself a sexy man in his bed, the part where Austin and Felicity Shagwell (Graham) show up in bikinis, the part where Austin used binoculars, Felicity grabbed them, and Austin's face was on her breast, Dr. Evil and the woman played by Mindy Sterling were going to have it and Dr. Evil was wearing see-through clothes, and the time where Dr. Evil and Mini-Me had their own musical sequence.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Very Funny I laughed untill I cryed
Review: Storyline: Austin Powers defeated Dr. Evil and sent him into space! But Dr. Evil came back, invented a time machine, got an awesome clone, traveled back into the 60's and stole austins mojo! While Austin is looking for his mojo, Dr. Evil plans to hit the world with a laser beam. The "Death Star". From the moon! Can Austin stop him. Yeah baby yeah. With the help of the hot cia chick, dude.

My personal opnion: I gave the movie 4 stars because I thought that stealing Austin's "mojo" was a bit roche storyline. But it didn't stop it from being a great movie. The rotating chairs, the shadow in the tent, bathroom humour, and off-storyline humour were all superme. supurb movie.

Graphics: The graphics were awfule. But they were supposed to be as a joke. lol.

Where you can buy it: At most movie rental shops.

Summary: A worthwile follow-up
Review: Though lacking in originality, and featuring recycled tired gags from the first (plus the inferior Heather Grahm), Austin Powers 2 is a good film. I love Fat Bastard and Mini-Me. I laughed very hard, and I like Will Ferrel as Mustafa (his pain deepens after the end credits; just watch it), thoguh he was in the first one, too. I like Dr. Evil's "Just the Two of Us," but it is not as good as "Hard Knock Life." Austin Powers Two: A winning film. Thank you for taking the time to read my review and feel free to leave me a helpful/not helpful feedback. God Bless America!

Summary: A must have movie, with fabulous sequences, just buy it !!!
Review: This is a monumental movie !!! Altogether, it is a rich, fast-paced, deeply emotional action and adventure movie with good fundamentals and a focus on efficiently getting back in time... what else to say ??
First of all, the beginning ("Houston this is Condor..."), with the huge, friendly Stayput character hovering close to the earth, is in my opinion, the most beautiful scene in the history of cinema !!! Then, the next sequence "Do you smoke after sex ? I don't know I never looked !" was like a shock for me (and Austin wears such a beautiful nightgown) !!! Anyway the whole scene with Liz Hurdley (Vanessa ) is absolutely fantastic. How funny when she starts showing her machine-gun jubblies !!!!! Another great scene for history !!!! Then follows another delightful sequence when Austin realizes that he is single and starts looking for a new wife, naked in the lobby and in the Lift of the hotel .... He says what he thinks to everybody. Then other great scenes follow (the swimmer etc.), and the adventure continues in the Seattle headquarters of Dr Evil (the Starbuck tower). Dr Evil has a little clone called Mini-Me, a smaller version of himself, sort of thing. Dr Evil also has a secret underground bunker, located in an extinct volcano, in the middle of the locean. He has a "Time Machine", and he has a problem reaching year 1999 (that was the other millenium anyway, the one of the mad cow.....). No problems using the machine after that though !!!!!! Other interesting phrases: "do you know how we get warm in russia ? We play chess" -- so disappointing for Austin of course. A bit later there is some fighting, with an escalation in the weapons and the threats. Finally Austin is saved by Shaggy who drives a wonderful car.... A bit later on we discover another colorful character: Fat Bastard (I want my baby back ribs !!!). The idea about the stool samples is just brilliant !!! And the story about the Mojo is also funny. Not even mentioning the rocket looking like shaft and balls !!!! And the lovely colours on Austin's plane !!! Finally, the end is also fantastic, first with the great sequence when Dr Evil says he'll get Austin Powers (well deserved...), and then with the funny call to help from an obviously British phone booth...
So there are plenty of funny bits and pieces in this movie, plenty of great details and plenty of vocabulary too (I must admit I did not know the word "to shag" before...). "Visual quotes" are also used a lot... Special effects are impressive, but one of them is not realistic though: that is when Vanessa the fembot crushes a bottle of champagnie; in fact it looks like the bottle breaks itself... It is strange as I have never seen glass break mysteriously like that, in a house I mean.
We also get some advice on the dangers or usefulness of almonds, flu shots etc. Liz Hurley and Heather Grahame are so pretty. Dialogues and voices are great.
A fantastic movie altogether.

Summary: Very Silly/Gross Humor, but funny!!!
Review: Now you have to have a broad sense of humor for this.

I saw the first one and found it funny. I have since seen GOLDMEMBER and found it very funny, but this was the best of the three. the cast was so crazy and out there. The idea having the lead actor do several characters and have them all be very funny was great, Dr Evil, Austin, and my absoulte favorite FAT BASTARD (gross but funny) just work well and made me laugh. The supporting cast, Mini Me, Frau, #2 and others helped bring it together. This is a little unlike the new one where I did not think the Mike as Goldmember was very funny nor Be'yonce in her role. I enjoyed it but I think this one is the best of the three. I hope now they do a spin off of one of the cast like Fat Bastard. I think they have done all they can do with the Austin series, but we will see..........
