Summary: on the contrary my friend...
Review: Unlike many of the other reviewers here, i happen to think that this is the best monty python movie. I also think that the Crimson Permanant assurance part is great. This is a hilarious movie that i happen to love, but i dont think that the 80 some dollars you have to pay for the DVD is worth it. I mean, its got lots of extras but really, i could buy another DVD or 2 in addition this one of it was priced normally.

Summary: my intro to python
Review: When i first saw this movie I had heard of monty python by people who said if you like kids in the hall and south park you'll like them. So when i was in the comedy section of my local block buster and there were all the movies and episoids on tape I looked right at the cover and of coarse said I gotta see this one and it wasn't a bad dicsion (totally the opposite a perfect choice for myself). In this movie the pythons totaly stretch the limits of comedy to were some may go "What the bloody hell are they doing?" while I go "That's brilliant and funny!" with of coarse sections of the film such as find the fish and the talking fish (wow they must really be into fish i'm just kidding but it makes you think) may put people into either loving this film or hating it. If you want a sure bet at being funny while wanting to be introduced to the pythons get monty pythons' the holy grail and if you want something that is commenting on religion than the life of brian. But if you want to see a comedy totaly off the wall and unpredictable get the meaning of life right away!

Summary: One of the MP classics
Review: This movie attempts to answer, "What does it mean?" An absolute classic from the original MP group. The film is simply outrageous in its presentation and will create a lasting impression for the great question, what does it all mean?

Summary: You must be joking!
Review: Eighty-five bucks! For a jumped-up CD? How about I offer you four? Come on, haggle! You've got to haggle it's traditional innit? Still, I only want to buy the DVD, not the rights to the movie! Has the WORLD GONE MAD? FIFTY QUID to watch Mr. Creosote throw up again? To listen to that song about SPERM again? Some people may be completely bonkers about this stuff, but not for this much dosh? Oh no. What's so special about a 5" disk of plastique which makes it worth more than eight times a long thin piece of plastic tape (which I note can be had for under ten bucks). Huh? Think I'm stupid?

Summary: eh, it was alright but it was still python
Review: Though it was their last movie is was not their best movie. The Crimson Permenent Insurence or whatever (I won't even give it the time to look up) was half [dumb] and boring. It had some funny aspects and by some I mean 2. The rest of the movie was dirty, dirty, dirty but it had it's good moments like the tiger scene, the death scene and find the fish still makes me laugh. Who am I kidding I just liked all of micheal palin's characters. Anyway I'm still going to buy it because there are parts I want to watch again and it's well...Monty Python but it's still not their best and I was a tad disappointed.

Summary: fat man
Review: It is a very good movie, I like the every sperm song and the machine that goes "ping" but the best bit is fat man that pigs out in a posh restrant eats a wafer fin peice of meat and exsplodes this is a must see!

Summary: Equal Opportunity Offenders.
Review: M-P manage to offend virtually everyone in this movie. My Catholic step-mother blew a gasket when she saw the "Every sperm is sacred skit". Almost broke the DVD player. Didn't talk to me for a month. That alone was worth the price of the DVD. This movie is M-P on steroids.

Summary: The best next to the Holy Grail of course!
Review: This movie is just awesome. I saw it with a bunch of friends that were over and we sat up and watched it like three times. It made us laugh so hard we cried. This movie is just the best. Some sick humor but it's all good. It is just absolutley fabulous. The machine that goes "ping" and "Every Sperm is sacred" those are just great. This is a must have.

Summary: Never gets stale...
Review: Every few years I see this film and I still love it! Unlike a lot of people I really enjoy the unforgettable images of the Crimson Permanent Assurance short (too many years lost in the business world, I guess). Some people who think Robin Williams is funny, and others think Monty Python is funny. I'm absolutely in the latter school. (Incidentally, don't see this movie to learn about the meaning of life...!)

Summary: It's Christmas in Heaven you know!
Review: I sat down to watch this film thinking it was going to be terrible because all I heard from people was that "It's not as good as Holy Grail" and "It's not as original as The Life Of Brian"
When I finished watching it I was amazed. I thought it was the best python film. Shame on those people who called it bad.
This film deserves a proper DVD release. I know that there's plenty of Deleted scenes like "Meet the Hendys" and "The Adventures if Martin Luther King" that they could have put on here, but they just didn't for some reason. I would like to see Crtierian do something with this wonderful film.
