Summary: Rupert Everett steals the show!
Review: In my opinion, it isn't the character played by Dermot Mulroney who is the best friend of Julia Roberts' character. It is Rupert Everett, her gay friend. It is Rupert who flys out to support her in her travail over Mulroney's upcoming marriage, giving her his time, his care and his affection. What an amazing person! I love Julia Roberts and go to any movie she makes, but the character she plays in this movie is immature and not very sympathetic. However, it is the very immaturity of her character that leads to all the conflict, so I can't complain too much! Overall, the movie has some extremely funny moments.

Review: Perfect in direction and acting. Julia Roberts is incredible here, probably her best performance ever. Many truly humourous and pleasant scenes, which by the end it leads up to a mixure of emotions: crying, laughing and waiting to see what's next... In my opinion, Classical movie and must-have for collectors or cinephiles!

Review: This movie was the best, I recomment it to everyone! Julis did a wonderful job in this movie. It even made me cry. She might be more likely the bad person in this but man was she great! This is one of my fav movies and it well stay that way. Everyone who didn't see it rent it now!

Summary: A great film ... after the initial strange start.
Review: I first saw this at the cinema and as I sat there watching the screen I could not believe what I was seeing. It was awful. To those who have seen this film I'm referring to the intro where they are just singing. I literally cringed.However! Thankfully after the first two minutes of a truly strange inclusion to the film, things got exponentially better. Better enough to say I loved the film! What I truly enjoyed was where the audience is involved in the celebration in the restaurant and the absurd nature of Cameron Diaz's character. This film is a barrel of laughs after its first hurdle and I think it would be great for anyone after a light-hearted film.

Review: As a woman in her late 20s, I can understand Juliann's sudden desperation when her best friend (who has been the man in her life) announces his wedding. You only appreciate something when you're threatened w/ its loss. Julia Roberts was adorably neurotic while both male leads were very good-looking. A real charmer to watch w/ friends though the ending kinda brought a lump to my throat since it hits home for me.
