Review: Once again, it has been proven to me NOT to listen to the advice of others, ESPECIALLY when it comes to movie. American Pie is a great flic, period. The other reviewers in Amazon who reviewed this movie need to get a sense of humor and realize there is more to this movie than just the humor. Maybe those reviewers have been out of high school for too long, but this movie is ABOUT GROWING UP. I know that I experienced many similar situations growing up in this movie, such as what your buddies say and how you really feel; being yourself, and experimenting with realitionships.

Review: I'm 20 years old and I have a very good sense of humor. I like to laugh at things that are truly funny, not stupid stuff. And this movie is definetly not funny, it's stupid. And let me get one thing straight, I'm not against tastless humor. Infact, I like sex jokes and stuff like that. I just don't like the way it's portrayed in American Pie. I simply did not find one thing amusing about this horny teen flick. What's so hilarious about seeing a boy screwing a pie? That's just ridiculous. And the scene in which a guy has sex with his friend's mom on a pool table while playing the song "Mrs. Kathy Robinson" is NOT FUNNY!!! I've seen sex comedy films that have been truly funny, but American Pie just isn't one of them.

Summary: A Few Funny Scenes
Review: Other than a few funny scenes, this comedy is boring. It takes teen movies to about the 12-year old level, so do not expect much. It is one of the most over-hyped films ever. I suppose for those who drink heavily while watching it, it is three stars rather than just two. Don't get me wrong, I generally like teen movies, but this one does not make it.

Review: while the perverted humour makes a person wonder where the movie is going, the bottom line is that " sex' is on the mind of most teen age boys and they are in a race to ..., drink beer, and do anything their parents told them not to do..!
looking back, it could have been the same things i was capable of but refrained from doing...see the movie and have a laughtually has a message believe it or not. The main focus of the movie being four guys having their heart set onhaving sex before graduating high school, but by the end they discover something different. I won't spoil it for anyone, but it is hilarious.there virginity on Prom night. But the way it turns that the guys either gets dumped or falls in love with their girlfriend truthfully. There are many sweet parts in this movie and it's very touching. Jason Biggs plays Jim. Eugene Levy plays Jim's Dad. Shannon Elizabeth plays Chez Exchange student Nadia. Alyson Hannigan plays Michele. Michele is always telling stories about Band "One Time in Band Camp, I did etc.; A good film that deserves all the attention it received in 1999.ollege students, but let me say as a college student, I hate this movie. So if you are planning to watch this movie, don't... Hey, it gets two stars for a few cheap laughs, but thats not saying a lot. in roles rather different to the ones they are identified with. Mena Suvari (the alluring Lolita-type from American Beauty) plays a nice normal choirgirl, while Alyson Hannigan's (Willow from Buffy: The Vampire Slayer) character's antics 'one time, at band camp' would have Giles coughing his tea all over the place in shock.
A great laugh, and sure to amuse anyone who remembers what it's like to be a teenager. --This text refers to the DVD edition

Summary: Classic Teen "Perverted Humor" Made Funny
Review: I was about 12 or thirteen at the time I watched this movie, and I heard that this movie was really funny. So I was at my Grandfathers house and it just so happened he had it. To make it even better it was the unrated version. So I watched it and didn't get more than half of the jokes. About two years later I watched it again and laughed my f***in brains out. I was like how did I not think that this was funny the first time. There was just one thing that I thought was weird that all the characters had bad teeth. Was it set up or was it not. Oh well it was still funny as hell.This is a 90's version of "Porkys", its about several guys trying to lose their virginity at the prom. They dicover different ways to plesure them selves and pleasure others. In the process they all find a date. But when all goes bad their plans backfire and they get screwed. This hilarious movie depicts a very weird version of a typical teenagers life. Not for the younger ones, and if your not into really gross sexual humor or if your gay and get offended easily dont watch.

Review: This is such a funny,crzy, and gross movie but you will enjoy it and laugh for hours. The unrated version isn't that much different from the normal one exept maybe 1 or 2 more minutes of nudity but to tell you the truth i couldn't tell a difference. Still this movie is hillarious and should be in everyones dvd collection.

Summary: perfect depection of today's teenagers
Review: i will give the movie credit for one good thing and that was the camera work. moving the camera through the hallway and the realism of the houses and rooms were a good touch.
however i will give no credit to the story line
this movie was a teen franchise
it seems to be that nowadays in high school, teens think that if they dont lose their virginity before they take algebra they will be forever known as losers. or the fact that they act this stupid in high school while living with their parents,(for example going to 5 keg parties, performing oral sex in their bedrooms, screwing someones mom, broadcasting a sex scene on the internet, masturbating with a musical instrument), it scares me to think what teens will do when they go off to college. sad to say, i like films, but movies like american pie road trip so on are the ones that influence teens the most.
Is sex really the only thing on teenagers minds today?
boy our society should take a huge fall within the next 10 years by then the population of high school parents should rise
i know teens are anxious to grow up and be on their own, but come on!!! they dont need to be getting knocked up before their 15th birthdays!
